 Some time ago I read that Faf was the schools cricket team - when AB played for the same team.   Maybe AB would prefer to see Faf as captain and letting him do his batting as sole responsibility.
AB's batting struggle when he has the wicket keeping and captaincy responsibilities.   

 I would move Amla to opening dropping Cook and bring in AB.

me, i'd be bold and get Rilee to open and then drop either maharaj or duminy for AB.
Either Maharaj or Duminy can bowl decent spin.
I wish Faf worked more on his bowling. He had a bit of potential with his leggies.

 The two weakest batsmen are Cook and Duminy. You have to have a frontline spinner Chipped ou so it' s really taking out a batsman and bringing in AB - original or  not!

Have you been keeping an eye on Aiden Markram.
Hell man this kid is going to be great.
He was our U19 captain when we won the junior CWC. Rabada was in that team too.

I also really like Jason Smith from WP.

So as far as batting goes, we have some really good talent in the mix.

Also keep a keen eye out for Pieter (Willem) Mulder. The boytjie can bowl... and BAT!
A proper allrounder. He is only 18, so give him some time, but he is full of promise. I dont often say that.

As far as bowling goes, I worry a bit. I feel that as there are very few good BEE batsmen in the local game, selectors are being forced to pick black bowlers who also are just not up to speed (no pun intended).

I hope it doesnt effect us in the near future.
