I did a lot of research on this one - but the previous item on the issue fell off the Board and I do not know how to recover it. The latest performances of star players that we all normally select was varing considerably.
The Cup started in Round 11 and there were originally four members of our league involved- namely oi-matey, Sasue, Rooinek and myself. Rooinek and myself got beaten in Round 12 and Sasue in Round 13 - the only survivor to Round 16 is oi-matey. However, for the record I want to put on record what happened to our opponents in later rounds, so lets try it out again - comparative to he latest survivors in the said competition"

If I survived Round 12 I would still have been in the compeition - but my opponent had freakishly high points in that round. If I came up in the draw against the players he played subsequently I would have beaten all of them - plus the person who beat him in Round 14 and would also have surviced Round 15 - would thus have met with Multipal Scorgasms in Round 16.
What is amazing is that the point scoring in Round 12 was very high and virtually in all cases in Rounds 13 and 14 - how bad the scoring in fact was for virtually all participants. All he high pointscoring players largely flopped in the latter two rounds.
