After Round 1 I was ahead of the members by a relatiely small margin - but for oimatey who gained considerably on me - the other members went back insofar as I am concerned.   This must at all times be a team effort and I hope we can do better as a group of real rugby lovers.

I had to make four  changes this week and did the following:-

  *   Kicked out Alexander - and brought in Afeaki

  *   Kicked out Pyke - and broad in Whitelock

  *   Kicked out Mowen - and brought in Cane

  *   Made one gigantic bugger-up - I wanted to bring in Ben Smith - did that and only considered the byes too late.  Had to put Smith on the bench and bring in Taute from the bench.

The latter can make my life easier insofar as to  the changes for next week are  concerned.   I still have Pocock on the bench - and can bring him back onto the starting line-up with ease for Round 4.  I can also bring Smith into the startting line up and wil have four other changes available - with $135 000  in the bank to boot.

Ou Maaik, my performace this weekend was pretty pathetic and I left a lot of points on my bench . . . Charles Piutau and Stephen Moore in particular.

I'm not giving up on the likes of Andre Taylor, Aaron Cruden and Ryan Kankowski just yet though, but I am bringing one or two Crusaders into my team. Israel Dagg is one of the first names on my team sheet in any Fantasy Rugby comp and I'm also going to replace the donkey Chris Alcock with Kieran Read.

All I ask is you fantasy rugby oaks try and distinguish between fantasy and real rugby. Seems we are having some problems in this regard.

Thanks.

@mikey,

jeebers bro, thats a the worst mistake to make on foxsport fantasy league, making ur transfers so early. try to hold of for as long as possible towards the cut of time, just in case ur players arent playing because of team selections or last minute injuries.

did u mean u put in reatllick??? cos hes not in ur fantasy team???

@rooinek,

ur a braver man then me, cos im getting rid of taylor ASAP. like u i had heaps of points on the bench, afeaki and piutau who i was torn between when it came too him or taylor, my hurricanes connection gave taylor the nod ahead which left me filthy, but not as filthy as the force. they ddint announce their team till friday night and pek cowan was injured in his rnd clash with the rebels, so i subbed him out to be safe and ended up missing out on a huge points bonus there,,,sigh,,,,:o/

Sasue

Made a mess - I got rid of Pyke in the Foxsport team and of retallick in the Test Rugby team.   Bad news that one.   Yes I made a mistake by the early postings and hope they work out well.

Come now get going - we need to get top scores for our league.

I did bugger up with my earlt selections - now I have only 14 players playing for me with Tautte out.  Should teach me a lesson though.

Ou Maaik, have you tried the "Undo Transfers" button? It's an option I haven't used myself yet but I'm quite interested to know from anyone else how it works . . . especially with regards to the prices.

If understand the rules correctly then your transfers are all undone at the same prices you did your transactions at . . . so you would lose any profits on a player for that round but you'd at least be able to undo any bugger ups . . . once per round anyway.

Worth a try if you're short a player for next round.

Oh look, it's Moffie . . . the sad and pathetic loser who just the other day stamped his little foot in a tearful rage and whined about how much he hates Fantasy Rugby and how boring he finds it . . . yapping away on a thread that is clearly titled Fantasy Rugby!

Wehe!

No seriously it's becoming quite entertaining reading how you and Ou Maaik can't even follow instructions, let alone make any decent picks.

@mikey,

u must have used up ur undo transfer before then, cos im pretty sure u can only use it once only, or at least it was like that last year.

i must admit i am posting this comment with a huge grin on my face, especially given ur healthy lead, and to just put u even a little bit more on edge, sam cane might be starting on the bench this week and sam whitelock has just been ruled out with injury,,,,,,o_O

Sasue

Enjoy the joke on me = I should never have posted early - but I must give you fellas a chance to recover.  Will make strong showing in Round 4 though - so get yourself going here in round 3.

What is wrong with Whitelock?   Hope he is not out for a while. I will have to replace him with the player I have on the bench - so everything is not lost.   Cane my come on - hopegully eary - and I will also get some points there - hope he starts though.

Taute has injured testicles - somebnody kicked him in the balls - typical Bulls - they do not rcognize the difference between balls and balls.   LOL.
