I must really learn from my statements of the past - All Black Locks are no good at all and the best thing to do is to avoid them like the plague.   Sam Whitelock I must have been crazy even to consider him.

And then Taylor - I am sorry you could not trade him for Savea - I still don't know which of the two was worse.

The other thing that bothers me is the All Black flyhalfs - what has gone wrong with them - or should I rather say what has gone right   I know you have a huge advantage over me pointwise and you may even get further ahead in the Chiefs game - but I should catch up in the closing two games.

You know who are on the shortlist (shitlist) for firing by me from my selections next week - definitely Whitelock in the Foxsport site and both Whitelock and Carter in the Test Rugby squad   My guess is that you will send Taylor packing - but I would also suggest that you send Carter as well.

Andre Taylor was the first player I picked in both my Fantasy selections and he has been a total disaster. He had plenty of chances to redeem himself today but he butchered all his opportunities. Julian Savea wasn't much better.

I am definitely going to fire Taylor's sorry arse and replace him with some of those exciting young Blues backs, but the problem is the Blues have a bye coming up in 2 weeks time so I may be forced to wait until then . . . although I could also replace Taylor with someone like Ben Smith or Hosea Gear . . . not quite sure what to do . . .

As you know by now I have made the mistake of selecting Ben Smith and since Taute is not playing I ended up with 14 players instead of 16 - it is costing me dearly though - as you may notice from the point allocation..   However, I have 9 players still to play tomorrow - the others have much less.

However, they would not get me to select any of the Crusader or Huricanes players again.  There forwards are to weak and theat place there backline players under severe pressure.  For the rest there are no players from the Waratahs I would select at this stage and also none from the Force either.   O'Coonor from the Rebels is one player I would select.

As a SA supporter I hope the Cheetahs do better tomorrow than expected.    Sasue has 5 Chief players in that game and I went for two Chief players and Strauss,  After that game he will have only two players to play in the last game., whereas I would have 6 players left for that game.

@mikey & rooinek,

we only have 3 transfers next week, so while i taylor is gone from team for beinc completely useless, i have ben smith on the bench so will more then likely just swap them around and use transfers else where.
on a kiwi forum i was raging abuse at my hurricanes and taylor and hammet thw whole game and i swore i wouldnt pick any hurricane players in my fantasy teams for the rest of the year, LMAO, damn i was soooo pissed off with the way tehy were playing, :o(

IMO the bulls are going to get stomped by the bulls next week, so i might even bring in rene ranger or franks halai, though i dont like putting too many players from one side into one position like outside backs.

mikey retallick is the only NZ lock i pick, i dont really any other ones, last year for the majority of my games i had franco van der mewe. ezebteh and retallick.
the all aussie darby in round 1 is why i dont have my preffered locks yet, but next week might see an end to that.

NZ flyhalves are not of to na ideal start, but they will come right fantasy wise, remmeber foxsport rewards attacking rugby alot, so the all the kiwi 10s will be right up there by seasons end.
im going to keep carter for both teams, cos im running out of transfers in testrugby and also cos the crusaders will play better now that they have finally had a run and were given an ice hiding by the blues. they are also playing the hurricanes whose only goal seems to be winning the wooden spoon.

Thanks for reminding me that the Crusaders are going to play the Hurricans in Round 5 - I will keep Whitelock for a week longer - if he is putrid against the Hurricanes - he is bound to be sold immediately thereafter.

I have already decided on one transfer and rest assured - I will never have a Bulls player in the Foxsport fantasy squad at this stage - especially not when they come up against the  Blues.  After round four I will also have only one Stormer player in the team and reduce the Sharks members by half,

I am going to stick with the Sharks until aftr their game against the Kings.   That game will really be funny - the Sharks will collect point like nobodies business.   And Retallick is still a New Zealand idea of a lock so he is not to be included by me. LOL

Congatulations - you probably have me on the rails this time around.   I expect you to get another thirty points through the three players I do not have and I may pick up a few extra points on Strauss - so that should make up the difference of circa 100 points you will be ahead of me before the final clash of the Sharks and the Stormers.  Could be a tight race though - so lets wait and see.

About the Chiefs team - I was disappoined with the performance of Williams - is he really a 13 at all?   Not so sure about that one.  Also the New Zealand All Black flyhalfs have all been disappointing thus far in the competition.   And I was to an extent disappointed in Cane - I was hoping he would up his game considerably - since I view him as a future All Black loosie.   Your man Retallick did quite well - given he was up against a 20 year old rookie nobody has ever heard from before.    He will have to up his game against the Blues though.

The biggest disappointment today was Goosen.  His missed goal kicks are becoming endemic and that oe kick that was charged down was also poor play on his part.   He will have to up his goalkicking efforts considerably if he ever wants to make the grade.

Sasue

Hearty congratulations.  You really beat me hollow this week and are deserevedly in the lead.  I am leraning though - irrespective how good an individual player is he cannot earn fantasy points without the ball in hand.

The players I thought would do well was the greatest disappointments.  Lambie was wicket - he never tried anything - kicking more than he should and whenever he passed the ball to Francois Steyn - the latter crashballed and died with the ball.   Jantjies is putrid and I am not going to select any Stormers backline player while he is around.  I have already thought about some player changes and am getting rid of Habana - moving him to the bench.   The next one to go is Reinach - but that will have to wait for another week - as the Sharks will be playing the Kings and the backline will function better if somebody can just get Francois Steyn to pass the ball out wider.   The Sharks will never be able to use their backline properly while he is around.

Bekker was extremely disappointing this week - but his replacement will also have to wait for another week - since I only have 3 transfers and will use 2 of those to replace Richard Kingly and Sam Wykes.   The third replacement will probably be Taute.   Don't' want to get aught again like last week so I am holding back until the teams are known.

 Fellas...

very low scoring week after all.

must say,I was so the, opted to sell kolosi, Taylor and goose....

but hasty decisions have a way of kicking me in the nuts... With hindsight, I should have chopped all 3

i took a gamble in selecting luatua and it paid off. Always good when a player that is listed at lock, plays on the flank... More points usually...
