Canrugby comes in and shows his intentions by taking the round. Nicely done!!

Sasuke comes into the 4th spot, from 8th and shows us all that he too is to be taken seriously.

Oimatey struggles to hang onto top spot as Ruggaboytjies closes within 10 points.

The poor hapless Giants drop to 8th spot. Management are having a hell of a time waking these boys up from what seems to be a deep slumber. Just hope it's not an eternal slumber.

Common Giiiiaaaannntttssssss!!!!!!!!

Rise and shine boys!!!!

I also had a weak round. As mentioned earlier, I completely stuffed up my transfers by selling all my Lions players early to try and make some extra cash and I bought a few Lions I thought were certainties, including Jamie Roberts. Roberts wasn't picked so I had to sell him and buy Manu Tuilagi back, only to see Tuilagi get crocked early on and score me a miserable 10 points anyway.

I also stuffed up with my flank selection. Being low on transfers, I decided to gamble on Justin Tipuric coming on early because he'd be someone I could keep in my team and save myself a transfer. I was right about him playing in the next game but he only came on for about 5 minutes this weekend for a feeble 50 points.

Lightbringers management have issued a statement apologizing to all their fans for the team's pathetic performance and taking full responsibility for these self-inflicted cock-ups.

CleanCut Tomorrow is the easy one again. I picked 11 players from the Lions team and 1 from the combined team. The more difficult selection will be Saturday and the game next week - before the first test. I assume the test players will not play for the Lions in those games - so selections will be more difficult.

Yes, the tests are going to be tough.

I see they still haven't put up prices for the Wallabies players but I suspect we're all going to struggle to put a team together on this budget. This is exactly why I've been taking a few risks to buy and sell early to try and get some extra cash.

It's difficult to make a profit when we see wholesale changes to the Lions team each week.

I too tend to look toward making a little coin on the side but must confess am struggling a little this time round.

Taking risks is a part of this game. Always has been.

It can however come back and bite you on the ass.

That's what makes this game so much fun.

Goooooooooooooooo GIIIAAANNTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Clean Cut - thanks for these updates, very entertaining.

It is proving difficult to build value in the Lions series. The hosts must have moderated the formulas that increased the values otherwise with the small pool of players the values would have been so high due to the high percentage of ownership as to be unaffordable to put a full 12 man roster together. The effect though is to make it much harder for us to increase cash.
