Sasue

I follow the point allocations by Foxsport carefully and it makes no sense to me in some cases.   At one stage this past round I was on 357 points and those have first been reduced to 355 and thereafter to 346 points.   oi-matey have been on 360 points and is now down to 358 points.  In the meantime your allocation has also gone down by 1 point from 354 to 350 points.   If that be the case the position in our league would be as follows"-

1   Oi-matey    -      3610

2   Myself        -      3601

3   Yourself     -      3583

Hw are such figures arrived at -  I mean that it is the second time in two weeks that my final points have been reduced by more than 10 points - last week in fact it was reduced by 21 points from 417 to 396 points?

However, I thought the thing was related to favouring of local members against SA members - but apparently it is not.   For instance Rooinek went up in points from 324 points to 340 points.    My opponent in the Cup competition was suffering worse than I did.   His points have been reduced from 356 points to 332 points - so he lost 24 points compared to my loss of 11 points.   If that be the case - he is really out of contention in that competition and I survived by the skin of my teeth.

Is their a logical explanation for the substantial differences in the final point differences as illustrated?

@mikey,
ive told u many times, that its best to wait for the scores to be finalised, LMAO, :oP
the points have always gone up and down in the days after a game for as long as i have known.
as u know, after the games tackles and mistackles are never factored in, but once they are, it dosent mean that it wont be changed afterwards, as the data they use tends to change for whatever reaosn.

if u look at tyhe espn stats for spXV games as soon as humanely possible once the game is finished, and then go back to it 24hrs later, u will see the same thing happen.
i use 5 different sources for statistcal anyalsis of games and the same thing happens to all of them.

bottomline, i woud only take the scores as u see them as a rough indication and around about this time, i would look at the foxsports scores as pretty close to the final mark, give or take 20pts.
