Sasue and Rooinek

From what I assume from the point schedule official bench players who come on during matches are given points for the times they are actually on the field of play and if they are in your playing squad the points are credited to participants in fantasy selections.

If that is indeed so then one really realises how important the term  "impact player:  really is insofar as rugby on the whole as well as in fantasy games is.   Take for instance the following examples of players who were only on the feld of play for short periods:-

Pieter-Steph Du Toit (Circa 10 minutes)

Foxsport      -      5 points

Testrugby    -     90 points

Arno Botha (Circa 20 Minutes)

Foxsport      -      25 points

Testrugby    -      120 points

For the time spent on the field of play the above are high points and if they maintained the same level of intensity for the whole matches in question they would have been of the top point scorers in their categories - or am I wrong?

@mikey,

yep that theory is pretty sound, i used that same line of thought with cj strander last year and as soon as he hit the starting line up, i recrutied him in my team straight away.

it dosent always work out that way and its important to note that opposition plays a role, the cheetahs were usless and the stormers didnt play like the stormers of the last two years, but all in all the theory is sound froma foxsport point of view.

test rugby ratings is an anomoly, jaco taute/ben smith ratings in round 2 was the biggest load of rubbish ive seen, so im still a little lost as to how they roll.

Sasue

I was very disappointed by the way Carter and Sam Whitelock performed.  Carter will get a lot of points on Trestrugby for the kicks at goal - but otherwise he was very disappointing.  You must really be glad you could not put in Fruen - he really was poor tonght - and Dagg is not a wings ass.
