Luke

Thanks for the info.  When the initial points were indicated I was very disappointed and thought I was finally out of contention in the Ruckersforum 2 H-to-H League,   However, I did beat my opponent marginally and at this stage I am no 4 in that League with the possibility of mocing up further.

I in fact Joined a total of nine H-to-H leagues  and at this stage I am in the following positions:

Position 4   -    2 Leagues

Position 3   -    2 Leagues

Position 2   -    2  Leagues

Position 1   -   3  Leagues

However, the important one from my perspective is Ruckers Forum 2.   In Round 11 I am up against Killer Clowns in position 2 on that League.   In Round 10 Killer Clown had 661 points - I had 62 more points than he had.   A strong opponent abd I will have to x\consider my selections very well.

In the other forums the membership is not as strong than it is in the Ruckers Forumm 2 League.

Luke

I have a problem in my seletions next week and I am always influenced by the strength of the opposing teams.  That did not really work out in Round 10 with the Crusaders.

However, I think the following are dead certainties in Round 11:-

*    The Hurricanes

*    The Lions

*    The Crusaders

I also give the Bulls a 60% winning chance against the Highlanders.   That being the case I will have to make changes to my team to fit in with the above - but having only three transfers I have to be careful:

*    Having doubts as to the performance of the  Highlanderss - I intend to replace Ben Smith with Tandwe of the Lions.

*    That leaves me with only two transfers and many more problems.   If the teams are static I may be in trouble anyway - since I have a problem with the loosies (Du Preez is on a bye and I never replaced Wiese.    If he plays I will retain him.

*   There were two poor performers from the Crusaders - namely Franks and Drummond.   I would like to replace both.

What do you think?

"Eleven Hurricanes were at the foundation day, including halfback TJ Perenara and wing Nehe Milner-Skudder. One's very near to a return to playing, while the other's not due back until late June.

Perenara is able to do things such as lift weights, but his knee ligament injury will keep him out of footy for another four to six weeks.

"Whether we see him before the June [test match] break, we're not sure. Probably not," Plumtree said.

Milner-Skudder, meanwhile, will either play in Thursday's Hurricanes Development XV game against Japan A in Levin, or when the Hurricanes host the Sunwolves at Westpac Stadium on Friday.

Second five-eighth Ngani Laumape definitely won't play against the Sunwolves. He still needs his two All Blacks-mandated weeks off, while first five-eighth Beauden Barrett and lock Vaea Fifita are both due another one.

A decision about whether Barrett or Ihaia West will play first-five on Friday still hasn't been made, apparently.

"Boydy [Hurricanes head coach Chris Boyd] is mulling over that selection at the moment. Beaudy's had a week off, so he's good to go. He's been to Fiji and wants to play so well see what happens," Plumtree said.
