Luke

Thanks for the info.

I  made some horribly poor selections on Saturday.   I did something no sane person would ever do and selected  a  NZ lock in Whitelock,   The gu y was injured early and I got zero points since Du Toit was not playing,

I also made a poor choice at scrummie and one of my props backfired as well.

For Saturday I will move Willemse, Du Toit and Wiese from the bench (according to the newspapers Du Toit and Wiese will be playing).  I think the Blues was gifted a win by the Lions through poor defense and they will lose on Saturday against the Stormers and easily so.

I am also bringing the following on Board:-

Maddox, Cronje and Dyantyi.

After all the Lions is playing the Sunwolves on Saturday and the revenge of the Lions will be terrible to see,

I picked Whitelock too. Averaging pretty solid. Unfortunately he got concussed as did the whole team . I have to bring in an OB, Backrow, and Lock. Bringing in Mostert, Weise, and Maddox.

1961 ? A good year for some Mr Brycy ! .Yup Whitelock scored zero points sadly for some .

Picking the right captain seems to be more important than ever .

Wardad

I kept Rieko Ioane as captain - but never really got full captaincy value from him - so I decided  to change to Marx this last round and in the process lost 40 points.   However, I will stick to Marx this coming weekend since the Lions are playing the Sunwolves.

I think most of the top scorers succeeded through the selection of captaincy = so I will keep an eye on that one as well.

Pundits over here are picking the Blues to beat the Stormers. Although I am picking the Stormers. My selections well be influence by that. Brought in Mostert. Another tip is Solomono from the Chiefs. Averaged over 50 his first two games. Playing Bulls at home. A Looka.

And I am keeping McKenzie for exactly that reason.   My change list is limited so I cannot do too much with Solomone - is he the guy listed as Alaimalo?

I think the Reds is going to be run over by the Jaguares - what about Tuculet as an OB?

Luke

I have noted that McKenzie is playing at full back on Friday and was o the point of getting rid of him - since his performance at flyhalf was not really productive from a fantasy point of view.  So I am keeping him for the future,

I also took into account the situation as to the Lions playing the Sunwolves on Saturday - am not sure whether Van Rensburg will start after his defensive disaster on Saturday,

My provisional team would be as follows:-

PR   -    Kitshoff, Van Rooyen

HO  -    Marx

LO  -     De Jager, Du Toit

BR  -     Ioane, Wiese, Squire

SH  -     Cronje

FH  -     Willemse

CE   -    Ioane, Dyantyi

OB  -     Folau, McKenzie, Alaimalo

Thanks for the latter tip as to Solomon

Wish I could bring in Mostert in place of Whitelock - but I just do not have the transfers available.

Next week we will probably get four transfers and I will have to bench three players - namely Folau and the Ioane brothers,   I have a nice kitty to work with so I can bring in some new players if my present bench is insufficient.    Ardie Savea could be brought back then.

I hope the Chiefs backline fires this weekend - I have two OB's from them and I see that R etallick will face Snyman at lock - he will surely have to run for cover there. I think that thus far Schickerling and De Jager was the top point earners amongst the locks - pity about the injury to Schickerling - he will play for the Springboks in years to come.   As a Under 19 player he broke his neck and he came back like the brave guy he is.  Top class that one.
