Actually get 3 trades. That makes things bit more difficult.

Luke

Thank you very much for the above.

I m quite thrilled about my progress - remain no 1 in the Ruckers Forum 2 Head-to-Head League.

My next opponent is Koos Kombuis

Looking at the unfair 3 trades only - I will be in trouble with the issue - since  I have three players to replace.

I can only hope that the selections would be good to me and I can use bench player for replacement purposes,

However, I have to look seriously at my loosie situation with Squire out and Ioane on the bench.    I hope the Stormers pick the best loosie on display this year - Wiese - to start.and I will be able to replace two loosies and keep Ioane on the bench..

My third transfer at this stage may be the scrummie.   I like Papier a lot and it depends whether he is selected to start - otherwise Ivan van Zyl.  Papier is too clever for the average Crusader loosie players and will be handful if he starts on Saturday.

I should never have advised members to go for Willemse at flyhalf and players like Wiese and the Bulls scrummies - it gave an unfair advantage to members of the site,

Tafua is pretty great imo. Todd is out injured. So Saders seem weak in the loosies department.

My trades are Luamape, Weise, and Alaatoa. I have benched Akira and Folau.

I was also thinking that there would be 4 transfers this week (where 3 teams have bye), like the years before,.... when I saw that there are only 3 I thought it was a mistake and that throughout the week they were going to correct it and let us 4 transfer,...

but I went to the game guidelines and I found that:

- Before the season begins you can make as many Trades as you like, but after Round 2 you are limited to three Trades per week and four trades during any rounds where 4 or more Super Rugby teams have a bye (Round 16).

there's only one round where 4 or more SR teams have a bye and that is the mentioned Round 16,... this round there are only 3 teams wityh a bye so we'll have only 3 transfer

I was making my calculations and thinking the strategy considering that there were going to be 4 transfers,... this is going to be tough,.... and the next 3 rounds (4 rounds in total in a row) are going to be the same,.... 3 teams resting and only 3 transfers,.... very tough

Thanks ABF and congratulations on your moving up the ladder - very impressive.

One can only hope that injuries do not bedevil; selections over the next three rounds - but then round 10 will hit us with another Hurricanes bye,

My transfers are as follows.

Weise for Squire, Lumape for R Ioane, and M Alaatoa for O Tungafasi.

Canes got Rebels week after. So Lumape could be a good option. I have 6 canes in my starting line up for the landers game and rebels game next weekend. Which would be Round 7. Canes have a bye RD 10 right? So have to be prepared for that. Team atm.

Props:

Alaatoa, S Kitshoff

Hooker:

M Marx

Locks:

S Lousi, F Mostert

Backrow:

J Taufua, C Weise, V Fifita

SH:

TJ Peranara

FH:

B Barrett

IB:

N Luampe, R Van Wensberg

OB:

J Barrett, B Smith, S Alimolo

I have not finally decided in te way to go with transfers - I have little funds to play around with, but I t hink of bringing on board -

*   Papier/Weber

*   Cane

*   JL du Preez

By doing that I would have the following starters:-

PR    -   Kitshoff, Schoeman

HO   -   Marx

LO    -   Whitelock, Du Toit

BR    -   Cane, Du Preez, Wiese

SH    -   Papier/Weber

FH    -   Willemse

CE    -   Havili, Dyantyi

OB   -   McKenzie, Bridge, Alailamo

I am betting heavily on easy wins by the Chiefs over the Sunwolves and the Crusaders over the Bulls.

Wardad

Your captaincy selection cost you dearly - and you would have been much higher in point count than you are now.

I would normally have decided the captaincy between  Rieko Ioane and Marx, but did not trust the Blues winning on Saturday and the Lions being up against the Sunwolves - so Marx was indeed the safe choice.

I was in a way disappointed with the performance of SBW and Rieko on Saturday - they were both overshadowed by their opponents and SBW e nding on his backside trying to tackle De Allende was a site to see,

By the way I thought that Weber left the field injured in the game against the Bulls - I may be wrong though.   Will he be playing on Saturday? .
