Oimatey, I was leading globally at one stage . . . I think after about 5 or 6 rounds. Since then I've stayed in the top 20 but in the last two weeks I've plummeted down to 139th.

I see Moffie is scoffing at my standing in the overall table on another thread. Would love to see where the pompous old Blowhard would be ranked if he ever had the balls to enter something like this . . . but as we all know, he prefers sneering and ridiculing other people's predictions rather than making any of his own. I think it makes him feel better about himself.

I can't find anywhere where it shows the total number of players but I do know that Klown (Clean Cut) entered a team at the start of the comp and then never picked any players so has 0 points meaning that his global ranking would probably give an idea as to the total number of players.

Klown, if you're reading this, won't you go check out your team and tell us what your global rank is? Tx!

Very impressive.
The ability to navigate the last few rounds with the Lions tour and the split game schedule will probably make a big difference on the leader board. Not a lot of visibility there. 
Haven't spent a lot of time on it after missing first round.

Overall I'm ranked 277. As you say Oimatey it will get challenging during the Lions series. I have put no thought into that at all.
It was really unfortunate that you missed the first round as you and Abasquefan always are dueling for first place n our league and Rooi is always in the mix. Same thing happened to Wardad last season.

PS, it looks like there are over 10,000 participants but cc can give a more accurate figure.

Here's a challenge for our resident gutless and spineless coward . . . I'll give Moffie odds of 10-1 that if he plays this same comp next year, he doesn't have to finish in the top 200, he just has to get into the top 200 once during the tournament and I'll pay him $1000. If he doesn't, he pays me $100. That's me offering him odds of 10-1 for doing what he reckons is pretty simple.
Anyone think Moffie will accept this bet? Dream on! He's waaaay too cowardly to put his money where his mouth is. You'll see!

 Moz, continuing our discussion from the other thread, even if competitors drop out this just means those that remain are the better ones. Am I giving you enough confidence to participate or is the comp too daunting?

JW this just isn't my thing, I don't follow all the teams....I haven't watched the Kings this year for example, nor several of the Aussie and NZ teams. Too much soccer, golf, tennis, athletics and European rugby. . Congrats on your score this week.

Yes, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I don't watch all the games & limit my viewing of other sports there's plenty else to do & with Spring well underway the outside world is fantastic at the moment so I'm taking full advantage.

I know I'm wasting my time asking you these questions . . . you still haven't summoned up the guts to answer my question as to when you realized the "Leins" (sic) were the top SA side rather than mid-table mediocrity.

 Good to see my kids score well ,although they dont give me any credit for pointing them in the right direction and wot-not !For them it means they get out of a few chores as well .Good to see our board members up there in the rankings ,I recall my kids a couple of years back being in the top ten for a round .And Saru won the 2011 RWC comp the clever blighter !I remember seeing Mr Basque being in the top 5 a while back and Rooie seems to be up there too .So all in all our mob does quite well eh ?
