What a season it’s been.
An exciting fight for the top three spots saw positions change back and forth all season long.
Congrats to Redneck and his Lightbringers. They practically lead from the start and are worthy champs. Pity they couldn’t make the top 10 but that’s not for the lack of trying, I’m sure … however finishing in 16th position globally is an amazing accomplishment. He takes the gold by an impressive 885 pts. This with an average of 2857 pts per match.
Bear in mind that the global winner this season ... M BEST 12 .. finished with an average
of 2905 pts per match ... a mere 48 pts better each round. That's the difference.
Hearty congrats to the AMAZING … THE INCREDIBLE … THE
AWESOME … SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPINNNNNNGGGGG GIANTSSSSSSSSSSS … for managing to
take silver this season … again … a repeat of last year. We ended up 43rd
globally with an average of 2816 pts per match.
What really had me riveted to the log table was the fight
between oimatey and Basquefan.
I thought it was all done and dusted going into
the last round but then Basquefan cracked under the pressure, dropped the ball
on the TRY LINE, tripping over his loose boot lace, hitting the deck head first and subsequently giving the coveted bronze medal up to oimatey.
The difference … Adam Ashley Cooper.
Actually ... that's perhaps a bit harsh ... oimatey fought like a man possessed these last 4 - 5 rounds and came back to snatch the bronze from Basquefan.
Well played, oimatey. A repeat of last year. You finished 207th, 1730 pts off 2nd spot ... with an average of 2738 pts per match. A great effort!!
Luckily this time round I had enough trades in hand to see you off.
A special congrats must surely go out to the phenomenal
CleanCut’sHorde ... who came in 9th globally, with an average of 2874
pts per match.
He had hoped to make the top 10 and achieved this with some awesome play. A mere 675 pts off top spot.
