Kindly accept my congratulations with what you have achieved this week in the Fox-sport selections.  Although there are still smaller adjustments made to point allocations - the points after first audit has been as follows:-

You                        - 496 points

Rooinek                  - 439 points

Myself                    - 396 points

Sasue                    - 330 points

It is likely there may be ssome further changes made - but I do not think that could alter the overall point scenario substantially.  You and Rooinek did a lot of catching up this week an if the point differnce last week was not so big - you would have been topping the list in the league we play in this week.  As it was you came very near to being the overall top competitor in our league - so kindly accept my congratulations in the relevant regard.   You are on the up-and-up and I think you will be on top next week.

However, the situation is always fluent and the teams that did badly this week - may be much better next week and there may be a complete difference in the points as a result.   I like strong competition and you are certainly providing that.

Thanks bud - great to see that it is so competitive with no real runaway team. Adds another element of fun to what is already a great game to watch. You find yourself really paying attention to the individual players much more.

Appreciate all your contributions and insights - lots of food for thought

Just an idea.  I know that Luatua is out this coming week   If I was in your position - I would put him on the bench and sell Pyke to buy Du Toit.   His points are showing a rising curve and he was the third highest lock point scorer this week after Luatua and Romano.  The latter is a yo-yo player and not reliable  from a point -soring objective.  Matter of fact I am going to replace Sam Whitelock this week with Du Toit, next week I am planning to replace Simmons with Luatua and the week after that I am going to get rid of Bekker in favour of Etzebeth.

I am still not sure about the scrummie issue.  I initially wanted to bring in Genia this week - but the nonselection of Afeaki and the bye of the Waratahs put pay to that idea.   I messed up badly - I was hessitating between Slipper and Tameifuna and am now sitting with a dud.  Will bring in Slipper this week though.  Insofar as Genia is concerned  I was actually lucky by not doing it last week.  That change may have to wait a while and I will in between use Reinach as my scrummie.

I was very unhappy with the performance this week of Gear - the second poor game in two weeks.   The Highlanders have a bye next week and I am going to sell him this week already,  Second on my selling list as a matter of fact.
