Sasue In the play-offs and semi-finals are we still limited to not more than 5 players per team in our selections in the Foxsport compeition? I think I did the right thing in going for the Crusaders players in Round 20 - so I think I have a reasonable chance to have sufficient transfers for the semis and perhaps final. Even though there are question marks about their performance yesterday - I hope they beat the Reds - otherwise I will be in deep trouble in the semis and final. If they lose - it will be the end of my participation in the Testrugby competition.

@mikey,

u will be allowed up to 7 players per team come the qualifying and im assuming the semi finals, not too sure about the grand final though???

im not worried about the crusaders v reds, IMO crusaders will win that one, what i am worried about is the semifinal between the cheifs and the crusaders, IMO the bulls losing to the stormers wasnt that bad a thing considering they would have had to face the  crusaders had they won.

hoping the cheetahs beat the brumbies, but i cant see that happening, cheetahs were lucky to draw the teams they did which IMO helped them out big time with their first finals appearance, after all they didnt once face the crusaders or the brumbies in regular round robin matches and now that the top 6 are filled with the best of the best, their finals appearance will be very short lived.

then again, the force didnt do too bad a job against the brumbies and hopefully the lions tour took a lot out of those players, would love for the crusaders to go loftus, as IMHO the only team who can beat the chiefs at home are the crusaders.

Sasue The best outcome or the Chiefs would be if the Cheetahs beat the Brumbies in the game this weekend - the big question mark is -will they. The Brumbies looked bad yesterday and the Cheetahs have beaten all the Aussie teams this year - so what will happen? I am not sure at all. If the Brumbies played like they did yesterday - they will not make it. I am going to base my Test Rugby selections on the asumption that the Crusaders will beat the Reds and the Brumbies the Cheetahs. However, I will probably include 2 Cheetahs players in any event in the Test Rugby team - just to be safe. That would likely be Labuschagne and Strauss. I will probably also include one Reds player - Cooper. Insofar as the Foxsport team is concerned - I have serious doubts about certain Crusaders players and may include just five of them - namely Dagg, Tom Marshall, Carter, Read and Sam Whitelock. That despite the fact that Read was very average yesterday. The problem is I don't really rate any of the centers to play in the play-offs and as to the scrummies - I would prefer Genia - and if he is injured - Van Zyl. Definitely no oher forwards from the Crusaders even remorely near my selection list. However, it would be better to wait and see the teams as announced and then match up the players in accordance with overall performance in Super 15.

im very nervous about my selections, have 10 transfer for the semi finals, but dont know how im going to roll with them, especially if the chiefs v the crusaders in one of those semifinals.
will have to use my transfers this week very carefully and hope all the players play next week, so the crusaders will dominate my sleections for sure.

cheetahs beat all thier aussie opposition, not all the aussie teams as they never face the brumbies, the only other threat from the OZ conference is the reds who for some reason dont know how to win in SA.
IMO the cheetahs are very lucky, they got to play with the kings twice and the brumbies and crusaders zero times, thats a draw that any team would kill for, i mean look at the blues, they almost made the finals and went the whole year without playing the force or kings, luck of the draw in the round robbin is huge and the cheetahs were the lucky recipients in 2013.
cheetahs still deserve their finals spot mind u, after all u can only play with whats in front u and thats exactly what the cheetahs did.

im hoping the cheetahs win, but i cant see it happening at all, they got the whipping of a life time when they faced a top toer team outside of SA (chiefs) and i get the feleling something similars going to happen in canberra.

not sure how im going to roll with the foxsport transfers, luckily for us we have unlimited transfers and thats going to help us out big time.
still neck and neck between oimatey and myself, while rooy has a nice lead at the moment, but that can easily change over the weekend, just look at the other league im in, it was a two horse race for the last month and half, but i worked myslef back in the running the last two weeks, so u never really know, :o)
