After all efforts to build up a team I got properly stuffed by the two Coaches concerned.   They did the dirty on me - both of them.   The main prolem from the Sharks side was that Reinach was benched, on the Chiefs side - the benching of Tameifuna and Cane was deadly.   I could make 1 change  only and decided - maybe prematurely - to change Reinach - and hope for the best.   But then followd the Chiefs announcement and that resulted in me s(h)itting with 2 bench players in the squad.

I hope that Latimer and Kainga got severe pains in the ass early in the game and that Cane scores two tries in the second half - while Tameifuna scores one.   The Sharks are stuffed anyway.

However, there is one consolation - I could get rid of Conrad Smith from my starting line-up and now have Kahui in my starting team.    Georg Smith and Mogg should produce the goods in the game against the Force and I hope to see a once-in-lifetime performance from Adriaan Strauss scoring 60 points.

I am moving to the stage where I will have only Du Toit, Reinach and Lambie from the Sharks in my squad and may bench them most of the time.

Clevermike - the Chiefs have made nine changes .

With Williams back at centre they should be dangerous. But both teams have suffered two losses in a row and things happen in threes. Also Key for the Chiefs is Cruden and Pulu in the halves. Will they fire?

Lambies kicking game will probably be the determining factor for the Sharks but not sure how many other Springboks in the team that could worry the Kiwis.

Steinlager

There are severe handicaps in the Sharks team and I am not sure what their game plan would be in any event.   I do think Viljoen is a reasonable full back and tha he won't let the team down.   Where I do have a serious problem is with their centers.   Steyn his year was hopeless and am lucky to even be in the touring squad - he is only there because of the multiple injuries to other Sharks players.  Bosman is no threat at all in any team - he is barely adequate - so the backline will be largely neutralized.   The problem is also with the scrummie - Mcleod is an idiot that makes the most ridiculous mistakes and his passing game is really wild and inaccurate.   Then for the rest they have weakish props and a complete farce at hooker - why Cooper is not playing - beats me hollow.    The locks are good - but the loosies are really problematic.  Minnie is a good and hard player - but a penalty machine.  Mthebu has never had a start in Super 15 - so he is really anunkwon quantity.

I think all reasonable people will believ that the Chiefs have at least a 15 point advantage over the Sharks and it would indeed be the upset of the year if the difference is smaller.   Despite some weird results this year - I don't give the Sharks a snowballs hope in hell chance to win this one.
