Is it time for Fat Steyn to become a loose forward or even just give up rugby all together?

If he played at number 8 at least his long distance kicking could be retained.

He started the season with some decent games, but he seems to get slower each match.

He has probably also been overplayed this season, especially for someone that is so slow and unfit.

It is possible that his serious leg injuries have never recovered properly, because he looks so lethargic and slow when he was running.

Or his diet seriously needs to be looked at because he is fat and slow. Maybe Japan will be good for him with a more seafood and I eat it diet, and not just Mcdonalds.

His Kicking was so average. He just hoofs the ball downfield. He looks so disinterested when he plays apart from when he can hog the ball with a crashball.

A prop has a better step than Frans Steyn, and more speed of the mark.

Given that age is not a factor it must be injury problems. His weight is going up - now 110 kg they said.He needs a more vegetarian diet. Fresh fruit nuts and vegetables etc.

Love to know the inside story. But what is certain is that we arenot seeing the brilliant athlete of old. What a great pity.
