See that Australian Hewitt smashed the fading star recently.
Next the Australian cricket team could be doing the smashing,
Could be Australias year.
Just as well the Awesome Kiwis are here to keep them dingbats in check.

Awesome
That comes about when sportsmen persist in sport participation when they should in fact have retired. Hewitt was good at one stage and faded out when drug abuse became an issue in tennis. He never won any major tennis tournaments for many years. Federer should have retired when he reached the age of 31 at the latest.
How this loss can relates to rugby and cricket remains a mystery to me. I guess it has been stated because of Federer's links to South Africa. That being the case it can as well be said that since Chad le Clos won the FINA Short course World Cup, breaking two world records in the process, therefore the SA cricket and rugby teams are going to beat the Aussies and New Zealanders in the upcoming series of this year.
There is no logic in making those statements - lets see what happens this year before we start crowing. Personally I think the Aussie cricket team - despite the bravado and hype - is going to have a tough time in SA.
Clevermike i can see your not quite the next Fibonacci so let me try to help you out with some simple algebra.
First the tennis ....Australia wins
Secondly the the cricket ....Australia wins.
Next the surfing and then the golf ....Australia wins.
Finally the Wallabies plays the Springboks....and dare i say it....
But there could be a pattern developing here could there not?
Like i was saying , It could be Australia's year.
He should have retired after winning Wimbledon last year. The difference in his long term marketability as the greatest of all time would have dwarfed any tournament earnings. Now I fear Nadal's continued dominance negates that concept. And losing to a rabbit like Hewitt is just downright embarrassing.
