I really wished for a Federer - Nadal semi, but it is not to be. Signs early in the tournament indicated that he is still suffering from the after-effects of his latest injury.
Great match to watch though.
Did anyone noticed the big lie iro the Anderson game elsewhere on the site?

Yeah, I am also very disappointed that Federer did not make it through. It would have been awesome to watch him and Nadal battle it out. It must be noted that throughout this tournament Fed did not look like the same player we saw a couple of months back at Wimbledon.

Federer cannot continue indefinitely. Age is a factor and it looked as though it played a part in this championship.
Nadal's straight set demolition of Rublev (1, 2, 2) could not have come at a better time. I look forward to his semi against the hard hitting Del Potro. Should be a cracker.

Moffie is also playing his part in this feud. How about directing a word to him?

Which thread did you check? Just a bit of advice - the third set was NOT decided by a tie-breaker - it was won 6-3 by Anderson.

Here we go again, this "debate"across all threads reminds me of that movie groundhog day (Bill Murray 1993) but there is no learning going on so we are caught in the eye of a hurricane that won't quit. Plus the participants seem to love this "debate" more than rugby. So, we better just accept this as normal

Oh I get it....I referred to the Andersen match and said we went to bed after the 3rd set tie breaker at 12.00, and watched the fourth set in the morning. The 3rd set was the only set not won by a breaker....and that's 'the big lie'. LMAOFY!
