Someone on another website spoke to him today and he had numerous gripes…..but said Borthwick “ sold him a Ferrari but gave him an Astra “. Make of that what you will…..

They recruited hom from the Erasmus coaching set-up.   Weasmus use of computerized analysis of player performances is advanced and like Erasmus - Jnes was a computer rugby analysis fanatic.  

I think that is where Jones were not used and woulxd ievitably leave the Enlish coaching set-up.  

Dunno about other countries but Robertson has appointed eight coaches.

It's a high-pressure job, everyone needs to be pulling from the same direction or tempers will flare.
It must get pretty heated before things culminate in the end of the relationship.

Just read an article in the Independent about Felix and Aled Walters departures. The players they talked to, all Saints, are not happy at all about it.

Not so much...some of  us grew up in a military boot camp "culture"...conscription and "the Army makes you a man"...breaking someone before building him up again...taking it a step further to a sport like rugby wasn't that outlandish for someone like Strauli...I'm actually surprised the story leaked ...luckily the "culture" has moved on since then.

Things have changed drastically over the last 35 years...I'd say an even mix of  some things better and some worse...still a great place to live though...the good more than makes up for the bad...and for me, the balance are beginning to tip towards good...
