I've jumped for joy, screamed with excitement etc...

But never before have I actually jumped, screamed and CRIED!

And it was because of that baby Bok scrum!

The scrum and the emotion from Maks vab Dyk actually had me in tears!

I have never seen raw emotion from a player like that during a match before.

Flip man, I'm still tingling!

What a scrum!

I was about to write about the same thing.

My wife just shat me out because I woke the kids up.

F'me that was incredible!

I have also never seen that before.

That scrum was the turning point in the game and the Junior All Blacks never rreally recovered.

Don't feel alone about crying.   I cried when South Africa beat England in the 2007 WC.   What was worse was in the round robin game at Stade D'France against England.

@flashdakota

@chippo....

Make that 3 of us!

... anyone correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think a Bok prop has eaten All Black meat the way young Maks van Dyk did today!

That scrum was awesome, that Bok 3 is a hard nut. Reminds me of Bismark, when he has ball in hand he always breaks through the first tackle and is a rock in the scrums.

Steph du Toit has made the same kind of impression Etzebeth made for the Baby Boks last year. This kid is the real deal and we might have just unearthed Etzebeth's longterm Bok partner. The kid is skilled enough to play as flanker and bust tackles at will. 2m tall and 115kg, this 19 year old still has some growing to do.

I also like the hard edge Willemse brings, he steps back for no-one and did you see his hit on the impressive Kiwi 8. Willemse just needs to get himself in the gym and lose some of that puppy fat. He has the mongrel in him that we need, he needs some refining.

Daffi you are spot on. That scrum was the outsanding moment of the tournament!

The hooker, Pretorious is it, also looks a good un. He is very poweful over the ball and effects steals. They all have a future in at least super comp level one would think. Boysens looks to be a lessor player but he too could go on from here if he works hard.

Heyneke should start something new...

Called Future Bok..

Where each year he selects 5 under 20's to follow the senior Boks...

They will gather great knowledge..

  • Learn their ethos
  • Understand the culture
  • Gain some great knowledge
  • Learn some new skills
  • Perfect their current skills etc...

basically get the next generation into the mix.

Thoughts?...

 Believe me I also cried, but for a different reason.

I cried because I will have to wait for most of those young players to be selected for the senior side.

Sob, sob, sob.......
