Two by Stephanie who looks really clumsy in open field. How can you buy the same dummy from the same player again?
A bad piece of defense by Venter which led to the Mays try.
And a truly horrible rearward loss of the ball by Combrink....accentuated by Allende's non urgency to get to the loose ball near the line. Allende who gave away a penalty as well with a stupid high tackle.
What all the critics don't get is those errors make a huge difference. Those errors aside the Poms did nothing special. We were better in the scrums and at least equal in the lineouts. Given scoring chances we took them.
We simply have to tighten up our defense as a priority and eliminate players that can't defend.

I feel bad for poor Venter, my club has almost the same slice move with the blind side winger creating a 2 on 1. Because Farrel and Daly both cut back towards Ford, Venter has to step in creating the space for Yarde to go through. Ford is looking for just that. If Venter isn't pulled in then Daley gets the ball with no one in front of him.
We run this move quite often off 9 and 10 and everyone is expecting a pass cos if our 10 sees it's on you get the ball and ghost through.
This move can work from ruck ball as well but its best off a scrum as the defence is 5m back and usually trying to come up quick which puts off their spacing.
Bummer that it happened to him on debut, but Iv'e seen it flummox more experienced and better players than him before .

I feel horrible for Mozart missing the high ball dropped by Pietersen - which caused the attack that led to the English try. Deliberate or not - the man is misleading us again.
I always said that the biggest mistake that can be made in rugby is for a lock to be selected as a loosie, However, our dear friend Mozart has yet to realize that it NEVER is desirable.

Nope thats nonsense. Missing an attacking high ball is not a fatal error. The fatal error was on the subsequent defence.
As for selecting a lock as a flank, we did that often with Rossouw for example....he made the tackle that took Cueto into touch in the WC final. Stephanie was just poor...nothing to do with him being selected at flank.

As it was Mozart that one was a fatal mistake - whether you like it or not. It allowed for a counter-attack that led to a try.

Haaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaa!!
Listen up, Arsehole ... do you honestly think it's wise for you to come up with yet another embarrassing theory ... having just been exposed and all ...
Wouldn't it have been better for you to do your usual duck and deep dive?
Trying to defend your stupidity isn't working any more. We've been saturated with your mindless posts ... your thumb sucking nonsense ... you ignorant theories ... your conjured lies ... the twisting of facts and your argumentative manner.
What's the matter with you?
Have you no shame?
It really is time to call it a day.
ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Mozart is a BSter. He criticized Du Toit for being poor after he was the best lock in SA this year - both in Super Rugby and tests. He was then selected in a position where he had about 80 minutes game time since 2012 in the Under 20 WC and now Mozart - the blazing idiot criticize him because he was poor as a loosie.
Time for that type of BS t o stop.

Moz I think that Du Toit could make a very good number 7 in the Teuns Stofberg mould given time in this position.Mallet and company showed on TV the huge gap that existed between 9 and first defender and said that the problem was basically a lack of communication in the defensive line up. You need to see this from the viewpoint behind the English side of field looking towards the Bok tryline.Anybody thinking Du toit can' t tackle is a nutter of note. Oaks like clown cut are so superficial and need constant correcting.
OU maaaikie please wake up. Your desire to prove Moz wrong all the time blinds you to reality at times.

As bad as the two dummies PSDT received- there should have been a defensive line from the scrumhalf to flyhalf behind Dutoit.
A scrumhalf and flyhalf should be closing down this space to force the defence to go wide.
Page, Lambie and Delande are a totally useless inside backs defensive line- and this is probably why there was so much space behind rucks.
I thought the best-performing forwards for the Boks were
1. Steph Dutoit- highest work rate- albeit that he gave away 2 soft breaks that led to tries.
2. Alberts (for the first half- lots of tackles- and hit offensive defence at the rucks3. Koch- probably his best game4. Beast- much better than ginger

Sharkbok if you view the incident from a length of filed viewpoint one can see there was a huge gap. hence the misses were a result of poor defence alignment. Now ways could Du Toit get their scrummie.

Damn I was hoping your chaps would shut the chirpy fracking Poms up .I f their heads get any fatter they will have to widen the tunnel to the pitch else Eddies ears will get stuck.

sharkbok is right,.... that wasn't PSdT's fault, he was alone to fill an enormous gap,... mainly the scrummie has to cover the possibility of the opposite scrummie doing this dummie
and the main error IMO was that of JP,... 5 minutes from halftime, 10-9 on the scoreboard and a huge mistake of the Enfglish on their 22,... that English kick should have been a try for the boks or at least put them to the sword and get a penalty,... but instead JP screwed it and gave a try to the English

Nah it was Combrink dropping the ball backwards and Allende so clueless a forward scooted past him to dot it down.

Did you miss the Pietersen episode entirely or are you just being overly stupid again?up Another Morne Steyn penalty kick in Perth cover-up we have to contend with here? What makes you so utterly stupid?

So JP dropped a high kick, clearly he and Strauss were not sure who was going to take it. The Poms get the ball inside their 22 kick ahead and catch the painfully slow Combrink.....who drops it backwards, and then Allende the centre gets beaten to the ball by a lock. Pathetic Newbie rugby.

It was poor individual play that let us down in the end but then if you are not playing with momentum and looking to kick the ball away at every opportunity than no wonder you will slip up.
You can have the all of the all blacks players in this squad and they would still. It is simple, under the current coaching an administration they have no chance.
I almost think that the boks are overloaded with information and don't know what to employ.
The BaaBaas had 3 days together, but they were happy to spread it and defended fairly decent and they are actually getting better. Hell, Du Preez is looking amazing as a 10 at the moment.
Just give this team to Robbie Deans or any other coach that has nothing to lose and the boks with do better
