2. That the theory that Morne Steyn is an acceptable flyhalf has been debunked by the fact that when Jules Plisson is available Morne is not in the starting line-up of Stade Francais.
3 That Morne Steyn at the Ellis Park Test against the All Blacks -
* missed four tackles of 11 attempts = two of which let to AB tries;
* contributed to the Messam second try by his deficient decision making; and
* that he missed 33% of his kicks at goal missing 2 of his 6 attempts.
4 That Willem Alberts contributions as a loosie is limited to a low tackle count compared to other loosies and a limited number of ball carries with a territory gain of less than 2 meters per carry on average - while he makes no contribution to breakdown ball protection and recovery, extremely rare line -out ball recoveries, he has no passing game and a there is a tendency on his part to hand over ball possession to the opposition and giving away of penalties.
5 That while not necessarily accurate in individual games -over a series or even part of a series tendencies of players insofar as performance can be confirmed by statistical evidence.
