From the opening whistle, he dictated terms with authority.

He nailed two early penalties to settle nerves, then produced a brilliant cross-kick for Canan Moodie’s opener.

His goal kicking was flawless, his composure unshakable.

Quite simply, when Pollard plays like this, South Africa looks like a champion.

Following a disastrous loss to Oz, Pollard got the Boks back in the championship, now he’s not even bench material. What a way to treat a legend, my guess is we will have to bring him back at some point, probably when Manie chokes again

Or if the Hype Machine SFM is maybe not up to standard??

Pollard is still the benchmark as the real McCoy that wins World Cups:)

It’s obvious why Pollard is not featuring - the Boks are looking to be more creative - that demands the selection of Sacha and Libbok

Pollard is there as security but will clearly feature less and less as will DA, Jessie and AE

A Pollard Delande 10-12 combination will rely more on penalties to score points. Had Sasha and Willemse combined, it would be less relevant to have a 100% pole-kicking success.

Why on earth DDA with Pollard? Make a change Willemse with pollard will work much better…..just saying.
