...how annoying Moonbean...are you gunna be okay....Kiwis hot as the devils kitchen haha....slay the welsh dragon, tamed irish lion... make sure you make the final Moonbean so we can kick your butt too...anytime you want some tips on how to play properly just ask Big Chief fan sitting bull...
Flaming Kiwi win again...
Cant see why you are annoyed by the win sitting bull. Welsh, who beat you last time round, were clearly off colour.
Enjoy your last win of the tournament. The bokke need first to dispatch argentina and then send the abs packing tails between legs.
Book your long appointment with ya shrink sitting bull.Bwahahahahahahaha
.....haha saw Moonbean posting about how pathetic baby boks were..how embarrassing for you...not very patriotic Moonbean...yarpies fickle as the wind...change their mind like they change their underpants haha
Yes sitting bull our hygiene standards are far superior to the primitive kiwi.
We were all mislead by the snapster as to our team being the fiished article. However since loosing to Ireland they have improved.
I am concerned that Jordaan went off and Pat Howard is not playing, hope they are fit for final. Meanwhile we lead ten - nil

I criticzed the play of the half backs in the game against the Irish - since they cost us a win against them. However, there are much better players in the squad and they will make a difference. The Baby All Blacks started of making far too many errors - but I agree the Welsh today was poor - so do not shout before the final is ended. Your forwards are not going to last against the Baby Bocks and although your backline players are good - they can only perform if they get decent balls.
Well said Mike it seems a few sensible comments silenced ou sitting bulle and sent him to contemplete the unfortunate omens for the abs!
My only concern now is that we can field our strongest team.
@clevermike,
i wouldnt say the welsh were poor, but the kiwis had a few things go more their way and i was very impressed with they way they didnt let the game get away from them, despite the complete dominatiion from the welsh in the first 20mins.
its amazing the turnaround from the boys when not playing in a swamp, lol.
the jrBoks forwards are very impressive and the backline not too shabby either, especially the No12 (cant remember his name), im looking forward to watching jason emery the NZ 13 going up against ur 12, cos both have loads of potential.
but like u said, the kiwi backline is very good and our forwards need to step up and give good ball, they might even have to use wallaby quickball tactics, cos i cant shake the feeling that the Boks will out muscle us as the time goes on.
jordan tafua our No8 will be key for NZ, we want him to run the ball as often as possible and get us over the advatage line, hes very kerean read like.
heading into the welsh match i was very confident we would win, but i am 50/50 about the final, we need to dig deep for this one, but NZs final experience should come in handy.
not very happy with the NZRU not allowing our spXV players to play for NZ, could have added much stability and confidence, but i guess thats good for NZ rugbys long term picture.
wouldnt this match have been a cracker if it was the curtainraiser for the Boks vs eng test??? glad its not though, NZ would have been under the pump from the mad Bok supportersm lol, :)

Really a very objective assessment. I think that the Junior Boks also have injury problems. Is not sure whether Joirdaan would be available - Howard definitely is not. However, I was very impressed with Ruhle on the wing. Small-Smith was injured and could be out as well. The star of the show is Pollack - but we do have a scrummie problem. They have called up Van Wyk in the place of Howard and he really is a good player - Meyer called him up to be in the Springbok squad and that would not hve happened if he is not highly ratexd. It must be mentioned that Van Wyk was only left out of the WC because he was injured and not available for the round robin games. If Small-Smith is out - I suspect that they would use Van Wyk as 13 - but Jordaan is also a real top 13.
The forwards are really problematic for New Zealand - but I think that that is where the real battle will be coming Friday. They out-muscled Argentina completely - and they would use the same technique in the final. By the way I like Du Toit very much as a loosie and maybe Liebenberg can up his game as well.
Would be interesting to see what is going to happen in the final, but it will not be an easy match for the two sides. Personally I think the winner is likely to win by a small margin - but I think the Junior Boks on home ground will be the winners. Weather in Cape Town this time of the year could also be a problem. It started raining heavily during the second half of the game against Argentina and even though Newlands has a good drainage system - wet playing conditions could be problematic and favour the Junior Boks.
I am really not so sure why the All Blacks exerting their dominance of world rugby would make anyone upset. It was very clear from last year that they were going to dominate rugby again for a few years to come. They are without a doubt the best outfit in EVERY form of the game at the moment and I see them remaining there for at least the rest of this year, and very easily through next year. The junior Boks have just proved exactly what SA rugby is all about, work hard and never give up and you will reap the rewards. Making the finals is a fantastic achievement and I would be over the moon if we win, but we will need to step it up like never before to see off the the All Blacks.
I am not sure about the Junior side being the dominant force in World rugby and am not either about the senior side. There is always a fall out after every WC because the winner are reluctant to get rid of the older players. They stay on past their sell by date and that normally is problematic. Unless the All Blacks start a real team building process sooner rather than later - they are going to fall in the same trap.
They had two games thus far this year - one good and one very average. The last game was gifted to them by a dubious decision of the referee after a failed drop goal of Carter - nobody touched the ball - but the referee decided on a 5 yard scrum with the All Blacks to feed the scrum. Only after that episode did Carter manage a drop goal to gift the All Blacks a win. We will see this coming week what happens.
@clevermike,
i dont think any junior side can be dominant, i mean once they turn 20, theyre out of there and its hard to build up any foundation and stability to make u a dominant team, when u have such a high turnover rate with players.
with that in mind, NZ has still been a dominant force, winning every tournament to date so far and losing their very 1st match ever, at this level this year
i have also been surprised that the jrBoks havent been as successful over the last 5 years though, i mean the talents there and the depth is deeprthen NZs, but i guess the coaching department is where NZ has had the most success.
also, best did charge down that kick, or at least laid a hand to it. odriscoll and kideney were asked in the interview after the game if the ball was charged and BOD then said it was the first thing he asked his player when owens blew the whistle.
u can also tell in the replay that the ball deveiates from its path in the air when the hand touches the side, or at least it did IMO.
but the reaction of the irish was the most tell tale sign that an irish hand got to it, cos not one protested and all looked sombre as they were preparing for the nex All Black wave of attack.
Regardless of all our personal views on the junior level of rugby, the stats speak for themselves.
New Zealand - Winners 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 England - Runner up 2008, 2009, 2011 and 4th place 2010Australia - Runner up 2010, 3rd in 2011 and 4th place 2009
South Africa - 3rd place 2008, 2009, 2010 AB's currently hold WC and Sevens title. They still currently hold IRB World Ranking top spot. They are looking migthy strong S15, occupying 1st and 3rd on the full log, and 3 teams in the top 6. And unless they choke the Rugby Championship as theirs too, based on current form.
ge, Sad but true, SA has quite a way to go before we can truely compete with NZ AND come out on top. Hope HM and Rassie are the catalists for this to happen. Baby Blacks are favorits for Friday, but the Bokkies should be able to rain on their parade. GO BOKKIES!!!!

It is going to rain in Cape Toen from Thursday for the next 5 days. That means a very wet Friday - with the chances that back line moves and a passing game would be problematic. In that case it is going to be a forward battle - which could be problematic for the Junior All Blacks, because they lost against the Welsh on a very wet field Hope it is a good match though, but wet condition could be a problem.
Not too much rain forecasted, but being Newlands, they are bound to get a bit of rain. The drainage is good however, but it will be nothing like the rainstorms we had in the first week or what of games, so it should still be good exciting rugby.
I got the forecast from DSTV and that has sometimes being wrong - but I doubt whether we would have anything less than rain on Thursday and Friday. Newland sin particular is in an area with high rainfall in winter - so we would see on Thursday and Friday what is going to happen weatherwise.
We better hope and pray for Rain on Friday evening. if this is going to turn into a forward wet slug match we will win. The Baby black's would love a fairweather open game so they can run havoc.
@clevermike,
thats not good news to hear, i though the tight 5 of the baby blacks would struggle against the jrBoks anyways, but that rain will now also effect our backline. :(
i can only hope the first loss that the NZ u20 suffered will hold them in good steed, or at the very least hope they choose brain over brawn, cos i was really pissed off with the way they kept running it out of their 22 against the welsh, especially as they were playing in a swamp.
i would like to see them kick for territory and muscle up on the jrBoks defensively, playing in the jrBoks own half will be crucial. i can only hope they have the patience to go through the right phases and back themselves when the opportunity presents itself, the intelligence of our scrumhalf captain brynn hall and flyhalf ihaia west will be of the utmost importance in order for us to execute that. IMO the team who wins the territory game, will win the game.
i do have this comfortable feeling in me though, something about that loss to wales has really settled the nerves and now its time for the boys to play hard and enjoy the moment.
its gonna be one hell of a match and im really excited to see the top two rugby nations go toe to toe.
GO NZ U20!!!
There was a change in the forecast - no rain on Thursday - but rain on Friday and a question mark in respect of Saturday. Hope that the forecast changes to allow for a positive game on Friday.
