I see AB came to life with the bat for the first time in a while. 176 off 104 balls with 7 6's.

The reverse nobble in all it’s stark beauty:
‘RE: AB de Villiers back
October 16, 2017, 08:17:58
AB de Villiers should just shove off. I'm sick of this whiny little prima donna picking and choosing which games he plays in. Let him go play IPL or sing his laughably embarrassing little gospel songs . . . I'm over him.
Pity because he is/was a truly great batsman.’
.....
Now Urinal, that’s funny.

A B De Villiers is in a class of his own and will not only be remembered as a Protea great but also as a cricketing legend. At the top of his game he's up there with the best. Here's hoping he stays healthy.

Urinal has trashed AB and Etzebeth....both of whom of course immediately showed their quality. The nobble never fails.

Ag You now Moz, we've seen that sort of thing play out so many, many times. Any fair minded person though would give credit where credit is due.....but no, not our Bitterbal.
One other thing, if greatness snuck up behind him and gave him a great big whack across his thick skull he'd still not recognize it. He sure knows how to hate.

Well, in fairness, Rooi's comment was in response to AB's habbit of picking and choosing where and when he would be available to play for SA. The tail wagging the dog. It was disruptive to the team. AB has since appologised and made himself available for whenever the selectors needs him. As it should be.

Ag Draad, you should know Moffie's obsession with me by now. Everything I say makes him get red-faced and tearful.
The doddering old fool actually thinks I was making some kind of prediction in that comment. I wonder which bit he interpreted as a prediction?
LMAO!

19 Oct 2017, 13:03#22
I have always been a big fan of AB. Still is but, IMO, he has become a bit of a prima donna. I have said elsewhere that he will firstly be remembered for his batting brilliance and secondly for his brilliance in the field. I do not see him being remembered for either his captaincy or his wicket keeping. His tendency of being involved in runouts of his batting partners might also come up on the odd occasion.

Vlag several posters have made critical comments about AB.....I think I was the first poster to raise the issue of his “too much cricket” comment just before the WC. That’s entitely different from insulting him for his religious beliefs, suggesting he may be a has been and wanting him to ‘shove off’.
..
Suggesting he is a has been has Urinal on the defensive again....now he is trying his usual tactic of trying to deny that’s what he meant. Funny stuff.

Oh for Pete's sake, which bits of what I said am I trying to deny, chump? Huh?
Be a man for once in your sad and pathetic life and answer the question.
I'm not denying a single thing. My comment stands. It's only deceitful cowards like you trying to manipulate my words to suit your own childish little agenda.
Bit sad to have to say this to a septuagenarian, but grow up, Moffie.

Your comment does stand, including the part where you say he is/WAS a great batsmen. So you have two choices:
.
1 That meant he was past it....which we know is, of course, what you meant.
.
2 Or you deny that, meaning you were saying the Proteas should get rid of him, despite knowing he is still pure class.
.
Either way your spiteful negative comment has made a fool of you again. LMAOFY!

Moffie, you really suck as a human being.
Low, devious, conceited, spiteful, manipulative, opportunistic, deceitful . . . those are some of the adjectives that come to mind every time I see your name on these boards.
AB de Villiers is/was a truly great batsman. I stand by that comment and that is all it means. If I gave the option of "is/was" it's because we don't know if he'll play test cricket again.
I also think he's a bit of a chop . . . not nearly as big a chop as you are . . . but whether I like him or not, I regard him as one of the greatest batsmen this country has ever produced.
Now go ahead and pick my words apart and selectively quote the bits that suit you . . . it's not like you could sink any lower in my opinion. You are beneath contempt.

That all sounds like the white flag. But let’s be clear, your’s was a spiteful attack on a guy who has only brought credit to SA cricket....not unlike the attacks you launched on Burger, Butch James, Marius Joubert and Etzebeth. These attacks always went beyond play on the field to attack some thuggish or religious element you supposedly saw in the player.
..
And always you have had your head handed to you. Learn from your mistakes.

There he goes again, we've seen this play out so many, many times in the past, as I've said, in a dispute he'll inevitably drag family onto the board. And I'll say it again, it's the very reason I avoid direct contact with him as far as possible.
