So we had another round of rugby this weekend post to conclusion of the Championship.

Pollard lasted only 27 min and it is unclear how severe the injury was, but a heavy strapped knee points him being rushed into action.

Willemse played at 12, had a good game, but made some basic errors like knock ons and poor passing.

Libbok stamped his credentials with an excellent day with the boot as well as on defence. He also seem to to ask questions and were instrumental in the final try. Kicking at goal was spot on

Goosen had a fair game. Good distribution but nothing spectacular yet. I'm not expecting much right now as he makes his way back to form.

Smit, came on and gifted a try with a poor clearance. School boy error. Maybe his ceiling is a backup URC player.

Lombardi got to start for a 2nd game and stayed on almost the entire game. The lions were solid on defence ontrolled the game well.

Hendrikse stayed on the pine, looks like Lombardi has the inside track.

Chamberlain did well, kept the sharks in the hunt but no dominance from the sharks.

The best 10 in SA right now is Libbok

So in other words he was shit. Kornkob, I dub you the heir to the thrown OF Ex Saff. Fucking hell do you feel no shame? Hehehehehhe!

Agreed Libbok is a good player and knows how to ignite his outside backs I thought Dan du Plessis had a very good game at 13 - beat a good few defenders It’s good that Blommetjies has joined the Stormers as it forces them to stick with Willemse at 12

Big question is, will R&N call up the necessary personnel reinforcements @ 10 or stay with the setup they have? Now that Rassie can be back at games, it will be interesting to see if changes happen.

I have no bloody clue who they will pick at 10 come end of year tour.

It may be Willemse and Steyn, probably Faf if their logic is anything to go by.

Don't think Libbok fits into R&N non existent game plan. Just watched Swys analysis of how Libbok controlled the attack and leading the direction of setting up the phase play.

Also another good clip from Nick and Swys. Goosen is not ready yet for the step up and has some glaring issues with his game management right now.
