Heynecke Meyer proved me hopelessly wrong, afterall, I was one of his severest critics. That said I am happy to wipe the egg from my face after a convincing win, all credit to the coach and his gallant team. It's been a while since we've seen three untouched tries being scored by the Boks and I wish Mr Meyer and the Boks many, many more. After the Mendoza Test I thought the Boks had lost their heartbeat but no, the coach has restored my faith and respect in him for a fine exceution of play. Thanks Heynecke Meyer for pointing the Bok compass in the right direction and for restoring pride and respect in the jumper. And if I were face to face with HM then this is what I would say....my sincerest apologies....it was never personal.
Mention should also be made of the posters who stuck firm with HM.....Beeno who always believed in the Bok physicallity being a factor and Moz who stuck firm behind HM while I disagreed with him..
