congrats to the force, some nice heart shown in their draw against the reds, especially with the wave after wave of reds attack in the second half, i kept expecting the reds to get through but the force just kept hanging in there by the skin of thier teeth.

there was once incdent the force can feel harddone by where the reds went for a rolling maul and the force stopped it legally, then the ref screamed at the force to let go of the player and the ball. in a maul u dont have to let go, u can just hold on for as long as u want.
force didnt protest one bit, but IMO they were just to focused on the next wave of attack.

alcock was huge for the force, a punishing defender and digby was huge too, repeatedly breaking the line and tackles.

cooper was unusually shit, he didnt do his lions chances any favours with that performance, genia was ok, but didnt spark like he usually does, was just very solid, as was coopers counterpart sias sbherson.

brumbies will be stoked with the result, but prob would hav prefered a loss to the reds, especially as they have a tough one this weekend,

This weekend is full of surprises with te referees deciding on the outcome.   The issue here however, is that we all expected the Reds to win by a huge margin and got walloped in the process.   I think that You did very well with Ioane - the only real pointscorer on the day.   Both me and my oppenent in the Cup competition did not do too well the Reds game.    He had four playrs against my 3 and may get another 20 points on the bargain.   That means he is still 109 points behind me with 2 extra players going into the game in the Kings-Waratahs game - 2 of which I do not have.   I have Conrad Smith still oustanding though.    Then he has 3 playrs tomorrow against my 2.   I am still hanging in - but would it last?

You have a battle on your hands with your opoonent in the Cup compeition - but I am still holding thumbs for you.  Similar with Oi-matey.

@mikey,

i think my cup challenge number has come and gone this week, my opponent had fourie as captain and he had a huge 50+ game, ontop of that he also had retallick in the locks who also got 39 same as luatua.
im going to need my props and englebrecht to have a huge game this week in order to stand a chance, but i cant see that happening.

on the plus side ive got six players and hes got three,
b franks, s ferrera, j englebrecht, b mcibbin, c leilafano, b foley vs g smith, c smith, j savea.
so fingers crossed that the julian savea and conrad have a low scoring game, but still do enough to help the hurricanes win, LMAO. :oD
not asking for much, so hopefully santa delivers for me this weekend.

totally different topic, but have u been to jefferies bay mikey??? me and some bros of mine are thinking of going there for a surfing holiday. my only problem is if i go to SA, its cos i want to watch an All Blacks/Bok test, but not at kings park, cos i dont want to have to watch my back all the time and to go to SA for any other reason would be sacrilege, lolz, :oP
if u have been there i would like to hear ur opinon, :o)
