The Force are resting many of their big names for tomorrow's game against the Lions, preferring to rest them for Sunday's S15 game against the Waratahs. The team named to play the British Lions is as follows . . .

Force: Sam Christie, Dane Haylett-Petty, Ed Stubbs, Chris Tuatara-Morrison, Corey Brown, Sam Norton-Knight, Brett Sheehan, Richard Brown, Matt Hodgson (capt), Angus Cottrell, Phoenix Battye, Toby Lynn, Salesi Ma'afu, James Hilterbrand, Salesi Manu.

Reserves: Hugh Roach, Sione Kolo, Tim Metcher, Ben Matwijow, Lachlan McCaffrey, Alby Mathewson, Nick Haining, Junior Rasolea.

Haven't heard of some of those guys but I'm guessing there will be some bargain buys in the Lions fantasy series!

Rooinek

I suspected that it would be something like this that would happen and it is bound to happen in othe tour matches as well.   Watch out for your bank balance - made my picks and has a balance of less than $100 000 left.

Ou Maaik, I don't think there will be too many problems with the bank balance as we're all going to have to sell our entire team every week and everyone is going to be in the same situation, having to pick a few cheap Force players to get in under the budget.

I just wish I'd gone for a bigger Lions win on Superbru! I think they'll rip this weak Force side a new arsehole.

that is one weak as force team.
i had orginall thought the spXV teams playing the lions would be full strength, but i didnt factor in the force are playing a spXV game this weekend, so that has probably taken presidence over the lions game.
i still expect the reds vs lons and the other lions vs spXV club games to be near full strength though.

@mikey,

sorry bro, but im not playing the lions tour on superbru, wish i had though, :o/

Canrugby Heaven only knows - some of the players are in the Force Super 15 squad 0 but they are fringe players who never once played for the Force - others may be local club players. I never thought the Force will use their regulars in the Super 15 team to -play against the Lions - so this is just a training team put together. The Lions should beat that lot by more than a 100 points.

Haha. I'm sure it will be a 50 pointer at least.

Who will likely be doing the kicking for the Force? Christie?
