Maybe things might change and before we know it, we might be back in Super Rugby.....with the Modern Era of Rugby you never know. Ultimately it would be cool to also have Aus / New Zealand teams, in the urc. Would be better for all teams.

Just the other day, Fossie told us how our rugby bores him to sleep...

Foster is trying to make excuses for the totally unacceptable performances by the AB's.

Foster is trying to find excuses for everything.

We all want him gone.

There are a couple of factors at play here.

1. Strength of teams, even if SA went back, we would still fail to field our best players as we have 150 pro's playing abroad. We will have to go back to square 1 and do what England and NZ does stating that all players have to play in SA in order to get selected.

2. Travelling, NZ always had an advantage here, more teams in the super rugby, less time away in SA and have aus on the other side of the ditch. It is a 2 hour flight from Cape Town Johannesburg. Roughly the same time from Auckland to Sydney 3h25min. Being away from home for 4 to 5 weeks in both Aus and New Zealand and travelling against the time zone. It is remarkable that SA could get a couple of wins. Whereas NZ just blitz in for 2 weeks, no Jetlag. The season is long and SA players want to preserve their careers for longer.

3. Audience, SA regularly had stadiums with 25k plus or near capacity, high tv numbers

These guys down at the bottom of the world are wondering how they are going to fund their teams without RSA's help and TV funding.

Treated the SA teams badly and now financial panic has reared its ugly head in their rugger circles.

With the new laws regarding which country you can play for even if you had been selected for another a lot of players who were "Coached" from the islands are GOING HOME.

PANIC, PANIC and more PANIC is about to hit Oz and NZ.
