Drop Carr and play the much better Fourie at 6 if fit - Carr will do well as an impact player. He cant in any event play 80 minutes - a truth ignored by his fans.
Tiaan is one of the top three hookers in South Africa. We need his extra grunt at scrum time.
Wee matfiled continues to mess up the Boks and the Bulle.
Expert opinion given and its all free of charge. All very elementary stuff though JW.

I watched Matfeild's match againgst the Wee Stormers, up till then I thought he looked good in open play. But his work rate was poor to say the least, it doesn't matter if he made more tackles then his opposing locks, as his ability to follow through with those tackles were poor, and most of the time players just brushed him off. I sincerely hope for your sake unless SA plays Namibia or Argentina, Matfeild stays away from the bok team, and the only capacity he should be in is waterboy, if he starts againgst NZ or SA Boks well get crucified, all free advice .

3 IQ no doubt somebody helped you with this post (not JW of course) as you are completely right.
People who take the trouble to watch victors efforts in a game will realise his short commings. However, it may surprise you to know I agree with Moz that victor is playing as well as he ever did. He is playing a lot tighter than he used to - perhaps as he is supposed to be leading the pack - a difficult task is one is always in the backline. I say playing a lot tighter and make no comment as to his effectiveness. Is comment really needed its so obvious.

What a pity Fatty Fourie is injured! Would have increased the tired Sharks chances of winning if the slow and weak little plodder was playing . . . especially if they picked him as a flanker!

Fouries a hooker Carr is a loosie no comparison, Fourie should stop trying to be a hooker cum loosie, and just be what he actually is a very good hooker.

A hooker that cant throw in the lineout or scrum very well. South African hookers must also be able to scrum well, and Fourie is too light.
He is a good opensider as he is effective at the breakdown. Carr can play in any position in the backrow, but is probably best as an 8 until he improves his play at the rucks.

True SB and Beenz. Fourie is one of the best opensiders in SA and Liebenberg is the better 2.Rooinek, being a bitterbal does not suit.

I think ou roooitwit had a brain cell spasm when Deon was made Currie Cup player of the year PLAYING AT 6. He hasnt been the same since ! .Anyone who thinks Deon is a hooker is as clueless as Alistair Coetzee. Hence you need to have an IQ of 3.
Carr is no fetcher. He does not compete over the ball etc - he may make a number 8. He is not suited to 6.
Deon is a huge talent being thrown away.
Snapster ya half wit - you have been punting Kolisi who has been a huge disappointment. W hat a laugh!!! I am not writing Kolisi off because I dont really do this as young players can overcome weak points. But to suggest he is playing great rugby shows how cluelss you are at times.
Further your denials re Coenie are totally absurd. The lad is struggling in the scrums. Now unless Pieter de Villiers can fix him up he is going nowhere. Wake up dozey! Man ou snaspter can be so silly!!!

Liebenberg is getting on (32) and has had injury problems but is one of our three best hookers in the country when fit.
Big man at 110 kg and very mobile and with plenty of attitude. He was a huge loss this season. Strong scrummager.
I suspect 8 is Carrs best position.
