Great
H had a lastminute.com change to my side. I added Fekitoa off the bench. So glad I did so.
Much better start for me this week, after unknowingly picking Jake Shats as my captain last week.

I did the opposite. I screwed up my team at the last minute by picking Dillon Hunt who did pretty much bugger all.

Did anyone know B. Smith was not playing? It was a shock for me but I could still do a trade after the Landers game to cover the fact that I had a Jags player on the bench (they have a bye). Thank goodness of the rolling shutout.

It was a very late change JW. No idea what the problem was. Maybe still feeling concussion effects? Either way it screwed up my Superbru Fantasy team.

I wonder when it happened? A few minutes before kick off they mentioned a late change and I saw Faddes had come in for Ben Smith, but during half time they interviewed Ben Smith and he was dressed in casual clothes so there's no way it happened during the warm-up. I'm sure they could have told us a lot earlier. B@ stards!

Apparently he was withdrawn that afternoon because of a hamstring problem.

Another disaster for me as Sam Cane only played a few minutes. At least my captain Damian McKenzie scored reasonably well.

I am f#cked by the finger of fate - my disgust with the Bulls made me make Cane the captain - what a disaster.

Hurricanes running riot. Wishing I hadn't benched all my Canes expecting a wet game!
Julian Savea, Beaude n Barrett and TJ Perenara are all siting on my bench and they've all scored tries already.
Edit: Correction, I posted that just before Barrett's try was disallowed.

Should of scored more lol. I had J Savea, Peranara, B Barrett all starting. Should of stuck with Jordie too, seeing he was goal kicking ah well. Ardie got me over 100 points. Hope he is okay though, he went off injured.
And what is up with Umaha his selections are shocking. Why does he keep benching Akira? He is clearly The Blues best option in the backrow. And benching Reki too. The inconsistent selections imo is really costing the Blues.IT is not allowing any consistency. Combinations are crucial, and Blues don't have any.

I might get lucky and sneak a rare win over ou Makkie if Cane stands as his captain without being subbed .Not the best way to win but I will take it !

Boy looking at the byes for next WE. Crusaders, Cheetahs, Rebels, and Lions. I might have some issues. Ardie won't play this Friday in Wellington. Achillies injury. He well only be gone for a week. But anyone who has him in your team, would bench him if you can. I don't have a cover. Two of my backrowers are from the Lions and the Cheetahs. A Ioane is a real option, he is cheap at 190K. That is if Umaga starts him. But then I got OX Nichie who diddn't play this WE. With no real bench cover. So it well be interesting IF I Can feild a team. No idea why they got rid of Wildcard. Hopefully we get 4 trades again.

Luckily I don't have too many Lions or Crusaders in my team . . . not in the same positions anyway . . . but I will have to use up a few transfers to correct some of the brain explosions I had on Friday morning . . . like selling Akira Ioane and buying Dillon Hunt of all people when I'm a big fan of Skuna Notshe who scored 3 tries!
I have been asking myself the whole weekend how I could be so stupid . . . not to mention benching all my Hurricanes because of the cyclone. The Suncorp pitch actually looked quite dry. I watched that entire game asking myself how the heck I managed to convince myself it was going to be a mudbath. I actually think Wardad has to take some of that blame!
In the last few weeks I've been guilty of picking players because of who their team is playing and because of that I have slipped from 1st overall to 25th. No more of that speculation from me. From now on I'm picking the best scoring players regardless of who they're playing in the next round.

Akira Ioane if he starts is a good option, he is cheap. Aride won't be playing this WE. So hopefully we get four trades, because I would prefer not to trade him out. Scott Higgonbotham is another great option, and Michael Hooper. And yeah Rooneck my policy has always been pick the best scoring players on average. I did kinda fall in that trap few weeks back, when I picked a few Bulls as they were playing the Sunwolves. And they flopped for me.

What moi Rooi ? I think I said somewhere that the pitch would be OK so long as they could get to it but sorry if I put you off ,perhaps it was some cunning plan involving disinformation ? Nah not me .My kids still cant get in to Uni for example cos of the damn roads .
