Not sure if it's official yet but I can tell you that this board's representation in the Foxsport Cup is over. My gamble of picking all those Highlanders backfired badly and my opponent absolutely crushed me.

I also slipped badly on the classic table and lost in the the head-to-head so it was a very crap Fantasy Rugby weekend for me. I have played my wildcard now so I'm hoping the Lightbringers improve out of sight this weekend.

 Rooinek
I am sure that we were all holding thumbs for you and I sympathize with your loss in this case.  You were indeed unlucky that two of your players were injured early.
We all look at likely outcome of games and I think that influence us in favour of certain players.  In your case you went for Chris King - player I never considered myself.  He loked good in the Stormers game - but really is not a good enough prop.  Really an unfortunate selection.
I was influenced by the fact that I thought the Bulls would have a runaway win against the Stormers and Jacqques du Plessis had his weakest game this year.  I picked The Chiefs to win with ease and that means  had Messam and Ret6allick in the team - both scored poorly in the fantasy game.
I have a serious problem at loosie this week.   have had Jaques Potgieter on the bench - and Whiteley. Messam and Du Plessis as starters.  Messam and Du Plessis are on byes and it leaves me in the position that UI would have to replace two loosies.   I may get away with it if Malherbe plays at prop on Saturday = but it looks like Piutau is not going to play this week - so I may have to make changes at prop and back row as well.   I will have to change one lock as well.   So i may be in a fix wth only 4 changees this week.
*  If Malherbe plays my props will be OK*  The locks - Have to make 1 change*  The Back Row -  Have to make 2 changes*   The scrummie - would like to make one change  *   Back Row - Have to make 1 change
It depends largely on the team announcements whether I will get away with it - without haveing to go into the game with less than a full team.   I am holding thumbs - but things do not look good for em this comibnng weekend/

@rooy,

big congrats all the same rooy, u outlasted us all which comes with bragging rights of its own.

cup challeneges are always tough, but fun like a mofo. it also gives an extra dimension when it comes to team selections.
for us cellar dwellers which the lightbringers dont know anything about in 2014, it also gives a fresh breath of air, a second wind of sorts and something to strive for.

anyways, tough break bro, but big congrats all the same,
JW

 Yeah i understand, i could of possibly still be in FC. But i benched wrong players and took some gambles that backfired haha ah well. Funny thing is last week for the Rd i was ranked over 15,000,  this week im ranked in the Top 1000 at around 957. So alot can change in a week in Fantasy Rugby.
