foxsport fantasy cup challenge starts in round 9, :o)

In addition to competing in the overall public league involving all registered participants, selected participants will also be entered into the Fantasy Cup.

The Fantasy Cup is a knock-out tournament within the Promotion beginning during the season involving an even number of Fantasy Super Rugby teams (such number to be determined by the Promoter during the Fantasy season at its sole discretion based on the total number of participants).

As an example, if the Fantasy Cup commences in Fantasy Round 9, the Promoter will select the 16,384 participants who scored the highest number of points in Fantasy Round 8 to enter the first round of the Fantasy Cup in Fantasy Round 9.

Each qualifying participant takes on another Fantasy Cup qualifying participant in the

first round of the Fantasy Cup (in this example, Fantasy Round 9).

The participant with the higher Fantasy Round score (out of the two participants at the conclusion of Fantasy Round 9) will then progress to the next round of the Fantasy Cup (being Fantasy Round 10) while the other participant will be eliminated from the Fantasy Cup.

This process continues until Fantasy Round 22 when the two remaining participants will contest the Fantasy Cup final, where the participant with the highest Fantasy Round score after the Final will be the winner of the Fantasy Cup.

If a Fantasy Cup match is drawn (i.e. two participants that are playing against each other in the Fantasy Cup have the same Fantasy Round score), the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is determined for that Fantasy Cup round:

• 1. The participant whose Fantasy team scored the most tries in the Fantasy Round;
• 2. The participant whose Fantasy team that conceded the fewest tries in the Fantasy Round; then
• 3. If the participants are still drawn after points 1 and 2 above, the winner of that Fantasy Cup round will be the participant who was the first to register their details for the Promotion on the FOX SPORTS website, as determined by the Promoter.

just a heads up for everyone, but hopefully u havent used any transfers yet, as u will want to take into account that as well as participating in the sarugby.com classic league, u are now going to go toe to toe with other fantasy peeps from other leagues.

every member here qualifies for the cup challenge, as our lowest member clueless is globally ranked 11,098.

its a pity that cloudzter isnt [playing this year, she progressed the furthest of all of us in the abs.com league in the cup challenge, awesome effort from madame vice president in her rookie year.
maybe its a good thing shes too busy to join up this year, o_O

and in last years sarugby league, oimatey kicked some serious cup ass.
i cant remember how far he went, but i do remember it was the longest cup challenge run ive ever seen anyone do in my 4 years at foxsport.

yeah bro u qualify, we all do which is testament to just how tough a field our sarugby.com league is.

the leaderboard ladder shows that theres only 202pts separating No1 from No9, im expecting more than half of us to progress to rnd 10,
