congrats to sheezaXV, wfunston and lucids team for locking up the top 3 spots in the classic league after round 2, wfunston overtook lucids team for the No2, but all three are in good positions.

mikey, sleeping giants and chiliboy are all within over taking distance though, so they will keep the top three on thier toes, while the rest of us need our players to preform or risk falling behind like a Bok forward 20mins into a game, -_o

on the head to head battle feild, the top three is the same, but chiliboy is added into the mix as one of 4 teams who are yet to lose a head to head match.

different variables involved in the head to head leaderboard, but scoring the most points is still the key and sure fire way to get the No1 spot.

this weeks head to head rumbles are,,,,

round 3

uzumaki clan!!! v nukefreekiwi wfunston v SleepingGiants DbDraad's v Bliksems chilliboys boys v Lucid's Team Rhinos v Just_win SS Invader v Oimatey Shezza XV v TheBoss3548 FirstFive v Lightbringers War Ponies v Clevermike Wardad v Average

so keep up the good work everbody and good luck to all teams for round 3, :o)

Argh. I stuffed up my team.  Kept 2 players who were scratched.  Need to be more alert to team changes.

Sasue and all friends I am not doing too badly in the foxposrt selections. However, I have one norm and that is what the likely result of the matches would be. Based on that the team this week should comprise of - * 6 All Blacks; * 6 Wallabies * 2 Springboks (Etzebeth and Strauss/Bismarck) * 1 Argentinian (Fernandes Lobbe) Am waiting for the team announcements before deciding finally on the actual tally. However, there is no way I would pick any other players from Meyer's collection of rubbish players as they should not be anywhere near the foxport squad.

That's an interesting way to look at it, Michael.

Think I'll use this tactic of yours.

Thanks for the tip.

Haha cleancut, Just ask my other two victims how that worked out... Lucids Team down, Congrats to Shezza. Enjoy your last few days in the #1 spot.

Clevermike, you seem down on the Springbok players. There are more than 2 who have done quite well for me. I currently have

~ 6 All Blacks

~ 5 Springboks

~ 3 Wallabies

~ 1 Puma

This will likely change though. I have a feeling that both the upcoming tests are going to be tight, making selections for this round more of a headache.

This is my first time playing fantasy rugby. All in all, good fun

Impressive wfunston!!

Showing the seasoned veterans how it's done, huh!!

Also my first time round.

I've studied your weak points and have noted you like to kick possesion away with Steyn at 10 ... had a chat with my boys. We got you sussed!!

Be afraid .... be VERY afraid!!!!

LMAO, love the banter involved in fantasy rugby, its a pity there werent more participating in these fine tournamnets we have running, :o)

@mikey,
ur a crack up bro, but wfunston is correct, dont be too harsh on the Boks, some have scored very well and now they get to play with argubally the weakest forward pack in world rugby.

my front row is going to be all Bokke this weekend, plus lady elizabeth and as i dont rate the Bok backs outside of SA against the 2 of the top 3 countries in the wolrd (i know what the rankings are, but SANZAR teams are still the 3 top dogs), thats prob all who will make my starting 15.

O.O Congrats to Shezza and wfunston who has overtaken me to the 2nd place, we'll see if he can contain his spot. To take into account that the match ups will be entirely different to what we've seen in the first 2 rounds im not expecting some players to play the same. There are a few key stand out players that will be transferred into my team, good luck to all this week. wfunston is my new target!
