Rugby is one of maybe a handful of things that one can feel proud of. This is why it is under so much attack, it's successful. Where there is success, there is someone looking to make a political statement and a quick buck. Keeping those, such as yourself, out of the game, that's the only dilemma.
As for soccer, well, Carlos Queiroz laid out a plan to develop the game nearly twenty years ago. It would have been a complete overhaul which would have most definitely propelled ZA soccer to greater heights. Great idea, but that would require money and effort. Particularly the effort part. Soccer is already 99% black, so why bother? The victory has already been achieved. So, your political soap box session hasn't been fully thought out.
