Francois Venter....Meisiekind but not as good

At least Wynand had a decent pass on him. Venter is Meisiekind with the predictable inside step, but without the pass. We often talk about crash balling South African centres...but the most common attribute is the step inside, often followed by a meandering cross the field run which allows the defence to shift the advantage line forward. The most surprising thing is not that this pedestrian centre was picked, that was the old CC illusion. Nope the stunning thing is he was retained for 3 tests after his Barbarian flop.
