We have a problem with sportsmen - and that applies to cricketers as well - is that they get injured more frequently as a direct result of aging.
However - another problem with aging players is that they are not competitive anymore and they revert to illegal practices to try and get the upper hand.
After dismal performances in the Rugby Championship tests Louw got back to England and see what happened to Louw immediately after his return.   This is nothing unexpected.
This guy should not be in the Springbok squad  as he does not add value to the team and his selection would continue to be a farce/

What he did has absolutely zero to do with age. It has only to do with stupid behaviour.   I watched the incident, and to be honest, I reckon he was lucky to get away with 3 weeks.

So what’s your proof that older players resort to illegal practices? What are the stats, who are the examples....over to you Tokkie. Back up your claim.

Try the neck wrench of Matfield in the WC semi.   It has been researched years ago and the actual situation is that older players are apt to take alternative measures to off-set deficiencies such as pace and physical decline.   I cannot exactly remember - but the research was done in about 2012-13 and a report was in the papers  about the outcome.

The same papers that reported on Matfield being involved in a Ponzi scheme?

I do not respond to dunces because they are too stupid to understand English.

This is not also a response? “I do not respond to dunces because they are too stupid to understand English.”
