I am frankly not interested in a few selected tackles made by Steyn. What interest me is his overall tackle rate in Super 15 and that was the worst of any flyhalf or center in Super 15. Fact is he missed too many tackles and in some case players just ran around him because of his speed deficiency.
By far th worst center and flyhalf in Super 15 this year - both in respect of attack and defense. .

Go to ESPN and look at all matches Steyn played in. Count the number of tackles he has made and count the number of missed tackles. Than add the two figures together and work out the percentages.
Francois Steyn miss 28% of all attempted tackles. That is the worst of any player in Super 15. That does not relate to players jkust running past him without a tackle attempt. There were enough of those as well.

Steyn had BS stats in the CR in 2012 and was statistically even worse last year - this year it was even worse than last year. He was the pits compared to any other frontline 12;s and 10's.
