He has signed for 2 years starting in July.
Personally I like this, having Steyn and Pienaar at the Cheetahs is great even in the older age. Now if they could get an experienced forward or two they can really get a healthy squad.

You need to factor differing philosophies. South Hemisphere has been polluted by Australia's desire for a more linear game, in keeping with league. It's thus one dimensional, with poor fundamentals. The very loose game in the SH is not transferrable to the NH largely for stylistic reasons. Altitude is another advantage the Boks do possess, that, coupled with some hard grounds, makes for difficulty in competing on a level footing. I've read and heard complaints about the harder grounds feeling like running on concrete. It's interesting that these same SA sides don't react the same way to the wet and muddy conditions of New Zealand.
Hope he settles in and forget about serious rugby.
Still better than Dud1.
I watched the June 2018 games against England. Ibn the two games won De Allende played extremely well. In the third game lost by the Springboks Esterhuizen was nowhere in sight, All that happened was that players outpaced him and his defense was poor, with near to zero attacking ability. Not much better in the later tests in 2018 and no surprise he was completely out of the picture in 2019. Steyn was taken as a cover and a dirt-tracker in the WC - passable in some games - but never of any real use,
So the rugby braindead lives on in you.
Duplication
Damian played well against England? Really? Lets have ANOTHER look...
Moral of the story: Never use ESPN as the final authority on assessing performance.
"X has been as average as they come for the Stormers - all he does is target contact and run straight into traffic"
Ah Saf you legend.
He isn't black enough to be president.
I really dig the new you my bro.
No swearing at me etc... we can have a good laugh and discussion... and disagree where we need to.
In return, I promise to never speak about your mum.
Saffy in his own mind...
I find it amusing that the self-proclaimed expert who won't stand for "boring" rugby backs the ever "boring" Jose Erasmus. There are so many conflicts within these individuals, no wonder then that they are so miserable.
Was it Erasmus - The Coach of the Year in 2019 - with a Rugby WR Gold you referred to? Tell me more than enough about the real coach we now have. Fantastic Rugby - this was the third WR Final the Springboks played in No tries scored by either side in the first two Finals - in the third one the Springboks scored 2 fantastic tries. Bloody impressive. LOL .
2015 to 2019: Over 1000 fewer carries. Skop 'n Pop rugby. What was the production of Pollard and Willie under Meyer and Rassie? What's that, Josè killed their talent? How funny. Wing particpation? Pass/run figures of the loose trio? You just can't make this stuff up. And despite an easier schedule, the figures are still frightfully low. Bottom of all top tier nations for attacking output. Chew on that Lügnerin!
LMAO
This guy is so idiotic he does no realize how bad he is, Only he can reproduce stats he thinks work in favour of the shallow arguments he comes up with. How real is the stats remain a question because h lied about everything he came up with in the past, LMAO.
This idiot things he can use stats - but when he lied and caught out by using real stats he is quiet on the issue, a very real disgusting simpleton. LMAO
