This could turn into fun and games. Unless, of course, the usual suspect decides to avoid this thread like the plague.

Not avoiding anything.   Look like the normal tests and games he scored tries in over his eleven year career.   Most of those were in France where he played for  seven of the eleven years.

In those seven  seasons playing circa  196 matches and scored 21 tries,   In the other three years he scored a charge down try against Argentina - that being the only try he scored in the period he played from 2012 to 2015 for the Sharks and the Springboks.

Nice memories though - on the whole after 2012 he was the most useless potential Springbok candidate imaginable - probably only beaten by Morne Steyn..

Worst? There was Damian. JJ. Mvovo to name but 3. We could add Jantjies in there a well as Malherbe. There's also Kriel, who lost the Japan test because he can't defend. What about Goosen?

I notice something about the players you defend: They all repetitively make very basic mistakes with damaging consequences.

And the inevitable obfuscation has started. The video is in respect of the 2017/18 season. The clues are in the title of the video as well as the remark at the start of it which states, “Full season reviewed and handpicked personally over countless hours of work”. Nothing to do with the Boks or 2012 or ....... wait for it....... Morne Steyn.

A0

Damian played the fool with Steyn in the last game they played opposite each other and was much more effective than he was since 2012.

Simplistic you are an simplistic you will ever be.  The Japan test was lost by the geriatrics picked by Meyer.   The top of that list of failures was Burger, followed by Bismarck, Jannie du Plessis Matfield, Pienaar and De Villiers -  it was after that lot that Kriel can be mentioned.

Foeitog - the poor bugger does not know the difference between backline players and forwards.

Ceradunce

One of the games showed was against Australia - and Fatso played no tests for the Springboks in 2017-18.

Also shown is some games he played for Racing Metro before 2012 - there are a few he played in during the period 2015 to date where he played for Montpellier.

So try again.           .

Most of the time I just troll him. He gets so worked up it's hilarious!

To the video. He hasn't lost his touch. Pretty fast for a 'slow plodder'. It's a shame he isn't a Bok, he'd be a nightmare matchup. Tough as nails, great skills and competitive. We don't have many fierce competitors in the Boks squad. Maybe only Marx, Eben and Faf.

Clever Mike von Klugscheißer, I covered that game. Damian did not play the fool with Frans. Frans had the edge. You keep repeating the same exposed lies every day.

Wow! I didn't realize how much weight he had picked up. He looks like a prop.

Reminds me of Bastareaud. A belly running at pace.

It's a pity they don't show all his wonderful traits. Like all the times he's missed kicked his drop goal attempts, or the amount of times he's hogged the ball in search of glory only to be stripped of it, and let's not forget all those incredibly stupid decisions his so well known for.

This video footage makes him look like a god among mere mortals. Sadly the truth of it all is a whole different story.

I suppose some of you would like to see him in the Bok mix?!!
Playing where - 13?

You lied about Fatso making line breaks  and that was exposed - so my statement remained - De Allende played the fool with Fatso.   he was on the ground on his arse twice after trying to tackle De Allende.

Damian pole danced on Frans and it was the most cringe I have ever seen on a rugby field. He did the same thing in the second England test, though without vigour.

Mozart said you are a perv, this isn't going to help

Tsk tsk tsk tsk. How many times do I have to remind you that the best thing that you could do when you find ourself in a hole, is to stop digging.

I decided to list each and every piece of footage in the clip to show you who they played again but by the third one I discovered your first faux pas. The game that you percieved to have been agaisnt against Australia was actually one of the games against Clermont Auvergne. If you looked closely, you would have noticed that the players had dark blue shorts and not green. Check again:

Then you also decided that there were games that he played for Racing. Nope. Wrong again. You were fooled by the Montpellier "second kit" that has a resemblance to the Racing "first kit".

Be that as it may, as always, I will give you a chance to redeem yourself. All you need to do is to give us the time stamps, in the clip, of the instances where he played either against Australia or for Racing 92.

“The game that you percieved to have been agaisnt against Australia was actually one of the games against Clermont Auvergne.” Oh, and I forgot to add that I was wondering how you got to a point where Frans Steyn, and Montpellier, would be playing against Australia.

Hilarious .....Tokkie in PSG form. He has been living under disastrous misapprehension that Clermont was Australia? Stunning lack of comprehension, didn't he notice a few players like Hooper or Pocock were missing. Hahaha.......one of the great bloopers of all time.

No Mozart - the fact that Steyn was proven to be so desperately poor in 2014 and 2015 and you keep on punting him was indeed the biggest blooper of all time comparable with your falsification and outright lies about what happened in matches.   L MAO

That's a matter of opinion, but it's nice to see you aren't trying to pretend that your's wasn't a blooper. Aussie Clermont.......hahaha.

Not a matter of opinion fool - disregarding facts was applicable the case iro Fat Fransie,     Remember your hysteria when Plumtree said Fat Fransie was grossly overweight and was required to reduce his weight and when Plumtree added that he was no center at all.

Fact is you and your idiot minion tried the same stunt as to exonerate Morne in the Perth test and Matfiekd in the WC semi after major balls ups by them.

Those are first class bloopers topping the idiocy list by miles.

That was based on what Dr Luyt said about the two clubs which were combined to form Satde Francais.   Anyway - that may be a minor blooper - with very little ipact on  rugby as a game as it only effected the Stade Fancois bench flyhalf.   In your cases it was based on falsification of what happened in actual games played - making it really gigantic bloopers.

Childishness supreme on your part

Never been a big fan of Francois Steyn since he returned back from France initially but he does not deserve the insults that Maaikie gives him...he certainly is no slouch and does have good games as clearly seen in the video above. He will never go down in rugby history as a great but he has had his moments of glory and for that he should be respected and remembered.

Ol Maaikie turned against him when he came back from France and was overweight...I remember Mike going up to watch him practice with the Sharks in Pietermaritzburg (if I remember correctly) where they were practising...since then or about he started criticising him, then attacking and love turned to hate...and it's been like that since. It's quite odd.

Maaikie leave Frans alone and move on...nobody here supports you when you go off in a tirade about players you do not like. I know you are not the only one...objective criticism without disrepect is acceptable but it irritates the hell out of rugby fans if it unfounded and ridiculous.

Frans would be some weapon to have in the team. He would discourage teams from attacking inside. If we could have some muscle in the loose trio we could force teams to go wide, which we have the speed to shut down. In Am we have a defender who can shutdown attackers on the edge and make calculated rushes out of the line to catch attackers ball and all. It's a sadistic power game that suffocated. I love it.
