French on losing streak

The weekend started badly for the French when they lost the game between the SA "A" side and the French Barbarians.   That loss was followed up with their loss against the Springboks yesterday.    And today the French Under 20's lost their bronze medal match against the SA under 20's by a wider margin than the AB's beat them.   The AB youngsters beat them by 1o points - the SA under 20's won by 22 points.
It is quite funny - but the Springbok score was 37 - 15, the points for the Under 20's was - guess what - 37 - 15.
The SA Under 20's lost one game - ie the semi's against the English and the question is why  the loss against the English,   The SA Under 20's dominated the scrums and line-outs, but lost the game because of poor backline management by Bosch using a donkey-kick approach.   Bosch is extremely talented - but he made a complete mess of the semi-final.  However, he is still very young and one can hope that he learnt a valuable lesson from that game - namely that he has a backline outside of him.    He will no doub t develop further and is an exiting prospect with much to learn in future.
