SAFFA point of view the Lions game was a standout......sure they only played the schoolboy 'Tahs but winning away from home and with a whitewash to boot gives the win the credibility it richly deserves.
The Bulls game was disappointing although one can argue that the Rebels are a well coached no name team, still it seems the Bulls have a long way to go to become the finished product. Their over reliance on the long ball pass is becoming predictable and a concern.
The battle of the Duracell battery infused Sharks vs Stormers was a shambles. There was no satisfaction in watching the two midget teams trying to outdo each other with a common helter skelter gameplan. For a start neither team makes a good promo for eating beef.....primary beef has been substituted for imported Italian pasta. Pity poor Rassie, he has to pick a squad out of this lot.
It's time for Fleck, Smal and the board at the Stormers to set sail so as to allow a once great province to revive itself.
