From newspaper reports about WP Rugby

The Union went belly-up and is bankrupt.   From latest reports it seems as if Wakefield is trying to get Johan Rupert to buy shares and bail them out. 
Rupert may be willing to do that - but then the franchise will be run on business principles and not on the amateur basis it was recently.    No more milking of resources by Wakefield to fund clubs who support him as Chairman.  
Hope Rupert helps out - nobody else will.
