Dave, like the rest of us, saw JJ get absolutely skinned by three random Toulouse backs.

Beenkop, I told you this kid was good. Had an impressive 20 min or so for the Stormers yesterday. Looked like he was perfectly at home at S15 level. Certainly a far better prospect than de Kock Steenkamp.
Made a few good line out steals, one huge one on their line. Put in some good hits and runs. Coetzee should have woken up to him ages ago

How much better would Meyer as national coach be prepared if he had an A side to draw on who employed the same game plan and used the same calls as his test side.
While the NH lag behind in terms of results, their national sides are better equipped in terms their feeder system for both their A sides and U20's compete in their own version of the Six Nations.
Our A side never competes and our U20's only play in the annual junior WC.
We should be doing the same during the Rugby Championship. Travel costs would be the only difference in terms of logistics, so why the hell dont we do the same as the NH?

I was very impressed with his game this weekend. He came of age late last season and has continued that form in his last 2 games. Easily our number two hooker behind Bismark. An intelligent player - in the right place at the right
