England has stopped the import of South African Creme Soda because, according to UK authorities, it contains colorant levels that are above the permitted levels for the UK market, leading to its prohibition in the country. Other South African drinks, such as Sparletta Pine Nut, Fanta Orange, and Fanta Grape, have also been affected by similar import restrictions due to high colorant levels.

I usually do my green mamba with a good scotch….a Scottish tot which barely covers the bottom of the glass and a drop of crème soda. Then I wash away the taste with a proper pour of McCallans,
Fine Whisky's are wasted on me, it'd just end up in a pint glass with lots of ice and coke. At a Scottish wedding (piper, kilts, sporrans, no undies, the works) there was a few flasks of some super posh single malt, so many years old blah blah etc going around our table. I thought it tasted like creosote. Went to the bar. Double rum and coke please and thank you.

One of my mates is big into his whiskys and another brews and bottles his own ales. They're forever trying to get me to taste this or that and telling me about the "notes" or where I'll taste the difference and I'm just thinking how one is good for stripping paint and the other would make great wood sealer. LOL.
Hahaha…..to tell you the truth it is an acquired taste, as they say. Meaning you have to convince yourself you like it. I will say this though, as you get older one’s tolerance for alcohol diminishes and I find Single Malts a little easier on the system than a heavy Burgundy.

Ever heard of it? It's great if you are trying to reduce calorie intake.
