Jack Quigley just said what every Wallabies fan around Australia is thinking. And he’s absolutely spot on.

Who is Jack Quigley?

He’s the devastated Aussie rugby supporter grimly hanging onto some hope that his Wallabies side might eventually show some ticker – but time after time, game after game, he’s met with bitter disappointment.

After watching Australia lose 24-19 to “Scotland B,” 29-year-old Quigley published an angry post to the Wallabies’ Facebook page, slamming the side as “a disgrace.”

In a little over 15 hours, the post received more than 16,000 likes, 1400 shares and 3700 comments.

“I'm a pleb. I'm a nobody. My opinion on rugby counts for the square root of f-all in the grand scheme of things,” Quigley wrote.

“But I've got one thing. Passion. Passion for the game of rugby. And for the Wallabies. And you can't deny me that. Despite your best efforts.

“I love you, but I'll be blunt. The Wallabies are a disgrace. You got lucky in the Quarter Finals of the World Cup in 2015 thanks to Craig Joubert losing the plot in the last minute (against Scotland, funnily enough) for some reason and you've lived off it ever since.”

It didn’t stop there.

“When I was a kid - hell, even now, I would've given my left nut just to pull on a Wallabies jumper, but when I see you guys run out, I feel like you don't care.

“I KNOW you don't care, because it shows. And don't tell me I'm wrong. Don't say that you DO care, because my response is that you don't care ENOUGH! CLEARLY!”

You can check out Quigley’s full statement here. It’s worth a read.

Australian rugby is in dire straits, with one Super Rugby franchise set for the chopping block and the game struggling at the grassroots level.

The ARU faces a legal battle with whichever side it chooses to axe, but even if it didn’t, the organisation would be in a shambles.

Crowd numbers at Super Rugby games are dwindling and support for the national team is shrinking at an alarming rate.

At schools once considered rugby union strongholds, AFL and football are taking over.

It’s a wonder that Quigley and others like him haven’t jumped ship already. Only the real passionate rugby people remain. And their faith isn't being repaid.

How much longer will the diehards stick around?

The ARU squandered both the money and goodwill generated from wins at the RWC in 1999 and a home RWC in 2003 .Rugby league is dullllllll as dishwater these days and that AFL is just some jackrabbity bogans jumping around and almost catching the ball and almost tackling someone by hugging them with utmost unmanly affection whilst kicking at a set of goals that rewards the wee loserly types even if they miss [ they get a 1 point consolation point  from the geezers in scency looking coats and silly hats] .With opposition like that Rugby should be king of the hill ,oh and lest we forget theres the soccer nonsense as well .0-0 draws are the acme of excitement there it seems and the sight of overpaid gits putting in the time for money and feck all else then eschewing time with fans or the sort of social biz you get when you play rugby is sickening to me .As for Gridiron ? A team of amatuers from one of the Universities there played a game vs a pro gridiron playing one half of rugby and the other gridiron and flogged them ,left them wheezing and gasping looking to be subbed aft er their usual 20 seconds of play .
