Fury demonstrates the low tackle

Fourie was once again utterly useless

JP turned 27, four months ago...........hardly old!!

 Moz, I havent yet watched the game as it was live here at 3.30am on Monday morning. I see the score was 28-0 but all in all, defence aside, how did JP and Fury play? Did they look much better than last week in all aspects?

 

Taking into account the opposition was not as strong but did they look sharper and like they had that test match intensity back in them?

JP was far better than last week, back to his best, scored a good try and made a huge hit on Denton ......................Fourie was worse than the week before..........made no impression with ball in hand, over ran Jean once or twice, conceded a penalty after making a tackle and fumbled the ball twice.......he was utterly useless

JP got an 8 rating, Fury a 7.... Which is about right.  

 Eish...Sounds like we may have a problem with his selection against the better teams then especially as he is going back to Japan instead of back to Super rugby like Jerome Kaino.

 

I know Scotland "should" be one of the better teams so 28 -0 is always a good result but they went try for try with Japan last week until Japan gave up. Its hard to take the Scots seriously and anything less than a 20point hiding would have been going backwards for the Boks.

 

If Fury is slow to react now, he is gona get blitzed by guys like Folau, Jane, Piutau, Ben Smith and Dagg as he will not get any quicker. The talk from him before the tour was that he was in the shape of his life and playing in Japan has helped him to preserve his body and get it to where he wants to be as they play much less rugby. He said he is in better shape now than he ever was in his prime.

Ah yeah Fourie has been great for the Boks.......this is just what we want in our Bok 13

Against Wales, he ran all of ZERO metres, yes Zero......not bad for a test 13. If he is going to run ZERO metres then chances are he never beat a single defender or made a clean break.....which for obvious reason he did not. But hey he had a clean slate on defence.......there is a positive!!

But credit where it is due.........he improved his running stats against Scotland today..........running all of 7 metres.........so our classy outside centre has run all of 3.5m per test.......wow, I can see just why Meyer is investing in the man. The clean breaks and defenders beat against Scotland remain at a big fat ZERO.......and he spilt the ball twice leading to two turnovers..........Fourie has been utterly useless and no way in hell could anyone involved in rugby give him a 7 as a rating.............imagine giving that pathetic performance a 7 and giving JJ a 6 in his display against NZ

But no doubt clueless Meyer will retain carthorse Fourie at 13 against France - what a joke

JJ the sieve..............yeah right, I think the stats will tell you otherwise and there is no arguing with the stats........12 tackles against NZ with 1 missed ............case closed.
