looks like some smart use of foxtel IQ will be required...

especially if Aussies bowl and Mitchy J can return to the destroyer form of match 1...

ITs hoped the south African groundsmen don't turn the pitch into a sub-Saharan dustbowl so that the saffa circketers can scratch the bowl on their zippers and gloves to get the reverse going......................... or the hometown advantage may ring true... 

I'd like to see pattison in the cricket to replace siddle and even bird in place of harris - just to mix it up a little...........

Anyway I predict a try fiesta in the Reds / Tahs game with heaps of wallabies spread between the two teams......

Its really in bad taste and takes away from the massive occasion that will be the 3rd test. Nothing better than heading into a 3rd and final test of a 3 match series between these two Test giants at 1 a piece.

Even if the groundsmen makes a dust bowl, Clarkes "best attack in the world" (pfffftt!) should be good enough to take 20 wickets. Dale Steyn is. Morkel is..Philander is???

Redsman, this SA team is not the English. This is the best team in the world. What you must realise is that in the first test, SA respected Johnson too much as they had seen what he did to England. It played on their mind and Johnson was on cloud 9 and his confidence had him standing 10ft tall and bullet proof. It was not so much Johnson as it was SA's mindset.

Second test they came out and showed Johnson that he is good, but not that good. Johnson showed no fight and had a shit test by his standards of late.

Question is, Is Johnson mentally tough enough to climb back on the horse?

We wont have to wait too long to have that question answered.

I really hope for the aussies sake the pitch is move lively than PE - once again though batting first shows that it gives the edge - hoping Clarke wins / bats and he personally needs some runs - got a feeling that Watson is going to give the Aussies a big lift in this game -

Reason is that I think hes on his way out and what better way than to beat the no 1 ranked team in their own backyard...

Re Mitch - I think it was lack of suppot from other aussie bowlers that hurt him in the 2nd test - Siddle at best is average / and there wasn't enough in the wicket for Harris to be any real danger...

Im a massive fan of another left arm fast bowler also called Mitch (Starc) - unfortunately the selectors aren't on the same page...

Im guessing Aussie bowling attack will be better but pitch conditions will REAL determine the outcome IMO...  

Crusties v Blues starting now - lets see if these two can turn it on... last week both extremely ordinary...

Look forward to when the Tahs play the kiwi teams this year - think you'll find the kiwis will be reliant on their fair-minded refs to see them through....  especially if last weeks games any indication
