We were slightly better this game but still way off where we were last year

We just struggle to create any form of attack in the backs and for me it’s down to Reinach at 9, Sacha being off his game at 10 and nothing being offered at centre creatively.

Look how well the AB’s create space out wide, with Jordie at 12 pulling the strings. Compare that to DA who takes it up - effectively but it’s not creative - we are not doing anything off the second phase he sets up.

Too many one on one tackles missed - DA, Kriel, Fourie etc

It’s like we have forgotten how to play and are just hanging in there on guts. It can’t last - things need to change.

Our scrum was disappointing today - where was the dominance

What’s with changing our starting frontrow before the game - selecting Fourie to start at 2 was senseless

AB’s are back to their best - next week will go down to the wire.

This old Bok side is lacking fresh ideas and it’s becoming easy to defend

3 tries to 4 - not good after 1-5 last week

4 to 9 tries

@Saffolk they struggled with the rush defense though. Looked completely out of ideas numerous times in the game as they were just constantly trapped behind the advantage line and couldn't gain tackle dominance with their big runners. I had a struggle watching exactly what happened in the last 20 due to streaming issues, will check it on the replay.

@Pakie but equally created enough to expose us out wide leading to 2 of their tries if memory serves me correctly

Their loop arounds created space despite us containing most of it, conversely we never looked to create anything in the backs

The Bok rush defence stopped operating in the second half. Backline was not nearly as fast coming up to their players.
I think we will be even better next week. The team is settling down. Next week Siya and Ox on for longer.
Yes indeed what happened to the total scrum dominance in the first half of the first test.
How about starting Morne van der Berg.
Do we need Pollock to close out the match.
Grobbelaar to start at hooker.
Think about starting Hanekom. More pace that Wiese. Let Wiese run at opponents more tired.

No Wiese is a must to start

We have to move on from Reinach at 9, he is awful

"Do we need Pollock to close out the match."

I doubt it but even if we do, he's already been capped for England so he'll never play for us.

With Willemse out let’s go 12 Hooker and 13 Moodie in the next test and Fassi at 15 and let’s attack

Would love to see that but I think there's zero chance Rassie will make those picks.
